On Monday, March 21 the PA Supreme Court ruled that only auditors approved by a small government agency connected with Dominion Voting machines can audit Dominion’s machines used in the state elections. The county or state cannot pick their own independent and objective auditors, they must use specific US Federal Government approved auditors to audit Dominion machines.
As of Monday, March 21 there was one remaining audit or inspection of the Dominion Voting Machines in the country and this was in Fulton County, Pennsylvania. Then the PA Supreme court ruled that only auditors certified by a small government agency with connections to Dominion Voting Machines could perform audits of these machines.
Fulton County wanted a forensic analysis of their machines after the 2020 Election. The county ordered their own inspection by Wake TSI. Wake TSI received a copy of a Dominion machine from the county’s IT Department. This copy was used by Wake TSI in their audit. They never touched a Dominion machine. In the end, Wake TSI created a report of their investigation of the Dominion voting machines used in the county. The contents of the Wake TSI’s report have never been challenged, only who funded the audit was challenged.

Ukraine says its defense industry has been destroyed
Kiev's official accused Moscow of trying to reduce Ukraine to a “destroyed territory” in which “no one would be interested”
Russian forces have almost completely destroyed the Ukrainian defense industry and are “finishing off” the civilian one, an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Alexey Arestovich, claimed on Thursday.
Commenting on the most recent round of the negotiations between Kiev and Moscow, which took place earlier this week in Istanbul, Arestovich underlined that any “large-scale military aggression and peace agreement are always compromises between the sides.”
“Because both sides suffer losses. If you think that we do not suffer losses, then you are deeply mistaken. They have practically destroyed our military industry and in many ways are finishing it off. And in many ways they are finishing off the civilian one, deliberately destroying it,” he explained.
He claimed that Russia’s goal is to reduce Ukraine to a state when “no one would be interested” in it, “like a destroyed territory.”
“This is exactly what they are doing and will keep doing,” he stressed.
Russia insists that it has not targeted civilian objects and accuses “Ukrainian nationalists” of using ordinary people as a “human shield.”
In Arestovich’s opinion, the recent round of negotiations has marked “a significant victory” for Ukrainian diplomacy. The presidential advisor claimed that Kiev did not accept any compromises and, instead, improved its position “along all negotiating lines.” He explained that, before the meeting in Istanbul, Ukraine was “a neutral state, without any guarantees, twice deceived.”

Head of the Norwegian football federation Lise Klaveness was told to "educate" herself by Qatar 2022 Secretary General Hasan Al Thawadi after her remarks on his country's alleged mistreatment of migrant workers and the LGBTQ community made during the FIFA Congress in Doha.
During a six-minute speech, Lise Klaveness said that in 2010: "World Cups were awarded by FIFA in unacceptable ways with unacceptable consequences" to Qatar and Russia.
She added that there is "no room" for employers "who do not secure the freedom and safety of World Cup workers" – with reports claiming 6,500 of them have died building stadia for the November tournament – nor hosts that "cannot legally guarantee the safety and respect of the LGBTQ+ people coming to this theater of dreams".
"This is not the right forum, or the moment or the stage to discuss and analyze these issues," the general secretary of the Honduras soccer federation Jose Ernesto Mejia told her.
Taking the stage after, though, Al Thawadi suggested that the opinion of Klaveness, who is gay, was outdated and expressed disappointment that she had not requested a meeting before the congress to voice such concerns.

Putin Signs Decree Ordering Gas Exports To Be Halted If Buyers Don't Pay In Rubles
Contrary to expectations that Vladimir Putin was bluffing about collecting rubles in exchange for Russian energy exports, moments ago a decree signed by the Russian president confirmed that that was not the case.
According to Bloomberg, Putin said he had signed a decree demanding payment in rubles for Russian gas supplies, which is set to begin April 1 as previously reported. According to the decree, while Russia will continue to supply gas at set volumes and prices, it will demand that buyers of gas open accounts in Russian banks, and warned that Moscow can halt gas contracts if buyers don't pay in rubles; additionally, new proceedings in EUR or USD could be blocked. Pushing what many viewed as a bluff to the edge, Putin said that active contracts will be halted if demands are not met, and explained that the move is meant to increase settlements in national currencies.
Putin's decree follows an earlier report in the Russian press that Gazprom was studying options of halting gas supplies to Europe amid RUB payment issues. It also follows comments from the Kremlin which suggested that it would look into the idea from lawmakers to ask other nations to pay for a wider range of Russia exports in rubles.
Indicating Russia's operational readiness to follow through with the plan, Interfax adds that Putin has ordered for special accounts for gas payments to be opened at Gazprombank which will sell gas FX on a Moscow exchange.

Two Hunter Biden Associates Testified Before Grand Jury About PLA-Linked Chinese Company
With the Hunter Biden laptop scandal heating up again, CBS News' Catherine Herridge reported early Thursday morning that two associates of the younger Biden testified before a grand jury last fall about a shady, now-bankrupt Chinese energy company linked to the infamous "10 for the big guy" from Hunter's emails.
"Federal officials are looking at his foreign business dealings, including his ties to a Chinese energy company," said "CBS Mornings" host Tony Dokoupil.
"The investigation began as a tax inquiry years ago and has expanded into a federal probe involving the FBI and IRS," Herridge added. "A source familiar with the investigation now tells CBS News, two men who worked with Hunter Biden when his father was Vice President were called to the grand jury last fall."
The probe is now exploring whether Hunter and pals violated tax, money laundering, and foreign lobbying laws.
According to records reviewed by CBS along with congressional documents, the feds are looking at "multiple financial transactions involving an energy company called CEFC. Republicans accuse the business of being an arm of the Chinese government. In 2017, the year Joe Biden left the Vice Presidency, a $1 million retainer was signed with a Chinese energy company for Hunter Biden's services as a lawyer.
His client, a CEFC official, Patrick Ho, was later convicted on international bribery and money laundering charges on unrelated work in Africa."

Offensive Tweet Leads to 150 Hours of Community Service for UK Man
Prosecutors sought six months in prison despite the offender having a miniscule number of followers
A Twitter user who was convicted of posting a “grossly offensive tweet” has been sentenced to 150 hours of community service. Joseph Kelly, a 36-year-old man from Scotland, posted a tweet last year about Captain Sir Thomas Moore, a British war veteran who became a national hero for raising money for healthcare workers in 2020, according to the New York Post.
A day after Moore died, Kelly wrote that the “only good British soldier is a dead one” in a tweet. Kelly was drunk and deleted the tweet within 20 minutes, his attorney Tony Callahan told The National. “His level of criminality was a drunken post, at a time when he was struggling emotionally, which he regretted and almost instantly removed,” Callahan reportedly said, noting that Kelly had a miniscule number of followers.
“He accepts he was wrong,” Callahan added. “He did not anticipate what would happen. He took steps almost immediately to delete the tweet but the genie was out of the bottle by then.”
Despite this, British prosecutors sought jail time over the tweet. Under a controversial UK law that punishes online posts. Posts deemed “grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character” can lead to jail time, and in the case of Kelly, prosecutors were seeking six months behind bars.
Sheriff Adrian Cottam, who was responsible for Kelly’s sentencing, reportedly said in court that his punishment was important for “deterrence.” “It’s important for other people to realize how quickly things can get out of control,” Cottam reportedly said. “You are a good example of that, not having many followers.”
In a similar instance, a 12-year-old boy was arrested for writing a “grossly offensive” tweet about a professional soccer player. “We were alerted to a series of racist messages sent to a footballer today and after looking into them and conducting checks, we have arrested a boy,” wrote UK law enforcement officials in a tweet. “The 12-year-old from #Solihull has been taken to custody. Thanks to everyone who raised it. Racism won’t be tolerated.”
Wilfried Zaha — an African born UK soccer player who makes close to seven million dollars per year — called for action against the boy after being targeted by the offensive tweet. “Woke up to this today,” Zaha posted on Twitter alongside screenshots. The tweet later went viral, as Zaha has close to a million followers, and the 12-year-old was arrested.

Intel to buy Israeli computing tech startup Granulate for reported $650m
US chip giant says purchase will help cloud and data center customers maximize performance, reduce costs; deal is Intel’s 7th acquisition of an Israeli company since 2016
US semiconductor giant Intel announced it was buying Israeli computing tech startup Granulate for a reported $650 million, marking the chip multinational’s seventh acquisition of an Israeli company in just over five years. Intel bought Jerusalem-based autonomous driving systems maker Mobileye in 2017 for a staggering $15.3 billion, which remains the largest tech exit for an Israeli company to date.
Intel said in an announcement Thursday that the acquisition of Granulate will “help cloud and data center customers maximize computer workload performance and reduce infrastructure and cloud costs.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the Haaretz daily first reported that the agreement was valued at approximately $650 million.
Granulate was founded in Tel Aviv in 2018 by Asaf Ezra, CEO, and Tal Asaiag, who serves as CTO. The company developed an artificial intelligence-powered optimization layer that, it says, helps improve computing performance and enables better handling of workloads, reducing response times by up to 40% and bringing down computing expenses by up to 60%
The startup teamed up with Intel in 2021 to develop the Intel Workload Optimizer, an automated solution that enhances workload performance and reduces latency (delay) in cloud deployments. The tool is being leveraged by Mobileye to optimize its cloud-based autonomous driving systems and technologies including its mapping systems, AI applications, and cameras.
Granulate also participated in the first cohort of Intel Ignite, a startup program for deep tech early-stage companies in 2019. Granulate has raised about $45 million with investors including Red Dot Capital Partners, Insight Partners, TLV Partners, and Hetz Ventures.

Federal judge rules Florida voting limits had ‘intent to discriminate against Black voters’
A federal judge in Florida issued a forceful ruling Thursday that blocked parts of Florida’s controversial election law, finding that some of the GOP-crafted restrictions it contained were passed “with the intent to discriminate against Black voters.”
In a 288-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Mark Walker invalidated certain limits the law placed on ballot drop boxes, voter registration by third parties and the distributing of water to those waiting in line to vote, determining the restrictions violated the Voting Rights Act and constitutional protections.
“At some point, when the Florida Legislature passes law after law disproportionately burdening Black voters, this Court can no longer accept that the effect is incidental,” wrote Walker, an Obama appointee to the federal bench in Tallahassee. “Based on the indisputable pattern set out above, this Court finds that, in the past 20 years, Florida has repeatedly sought to make voting tougher for Black voters because of their propensity to favor Democratic candidates.”

How Raphael Warnock Used Millions in Fed Cash to Dismantle an Atlanta Jail
Soros-backed nonprofit will run 'diversion center' seeking to 'transition away' from criminal justice system
Sen. Raphael Warnock (D., Ga.) steered $4 million in federal funds to convert part of Atlanta's city jail into a "diversion center" run by a George Soros-backed nonprofit that seeks to "transition away" from the criminal justice system.
The center, which received city council approval in February, will provide police with an "alternative" to incarcerating suspects who are "experiencing poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, or mental health issues," according to Atlanta lawmakers. Instead, the city will encourage police to drop off eligible offenders at the diversion center, which will offer noncompulsory services such as beds, showers, and mental health screenings, according to city officials.
The center will be co-managed by the Soros-funded Policing Alternatives and Diversion Initiative (PAD) and will help the city "transition away from legal system responses that utilize jails or arrest for concerns related to homelessness, mental health, substance use, and poverty," according to a memorandum of understanding between the Atlanta city government and PAD.
Warnock requested the $4 million earmark in June amid rising crime in Atlanta, which has seen a spike in burglaries, rapes, and homicides. Police say they are frustrated by the city's revolving door of repeat offenders, who commit up to 40 percent of crimes in the city and are released back on the streets after serving little to no prison time.
Crime could become an election issue for Warnock, who is facing a competitive reelection that will likely pit him against Republican primary frontrunner Herschel Walker. The senator was accused of taking a soft-on-crime approach by his prior Republican opponent in the 2020 election. Warnock has called for the end of "mass incarceration"—his term for the current prison system—and said in a 2018 speech that it was "not enough to decriminalize marijuana. Somebody's got to open up the jails and let our children go."
PAD, the nonprofit group that will help manage the diversion center, is funded by Democratic donor George Soros through his charitable group, Open Society Foundations.
The center will be an expansion of PAD's ongoing partnership with the city. A task force convened by Atlanta's mayor last year recommended that the city revise the Atlanta Police Department's performance evaluation system to "incentivize" diversions through the PAD program and "deincentivize" arrests for eligible offenders.
Unlike pre-trial diversion programs—which take place after an individual has been charged and can help avoid jail time or a trial—pre-arrest diversion allows suspects to avoid arrest completely. Police officers, however, must first have probable cause to make an arrest before referring an individual to PAD.

President Biden on Thursday afternoon said he would release 100 million barrels a day from the country's Strategic Petroleum Reserve to held slow rising gas costs in the U.S. – while putting much of the blame for soaring energy costs on "Putin's Price Hike" and oil companies whom he says are putting profit ahead of oil production.
He said American families' decisions about filling up their vehicle's gas tank "should hinge on whether a dictator demands war."
Biden announced a two-part plan to "to serve as a bridge" between the energy shortage and when the Russia-Ukraine War, which he called – "Putin's War" – ends and domestic production increases.
To encourage domestic production, Biden will call on Congress to make companies pay fees on wells from their leases on public land that they haven't used in years.
The president also blame the pandemic for higher prices at the gas pumps – which he said over the past year have increases the average cost of a gallon from $3.30 to $4.20. He said demand "plummeted" amid pandemic lockdowns, then soared as virus numbers dropped, resulting in higher prices because supply could not meet demand.
He suggested that oil companies have not ramped up production to meet demand to take advantage of high prices results for demand exceeding supply.

Over 60,000 voters on NC rolls are dead, registered twice or enrolled in other state, report warns

With midterms elections in North Carolina starting in about six weeks, more than 60,000 registered voters in the state are dead, registered in another state or registered twice under variations of their name, according to a new watchdog report.
The report released Tuesday by the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a nonprofit law firm focused on election integrity, in one example found 7,933 North Carolinians are still registered to vote after having died in 2020.
"North Carolina officials need to use the time they still have to prepare voter rolls for the midterm elections," foundation President J. Christian Adams said. "Time is running out. Silly, obvious errors in the voter roll can create opportunities for voter fraud and chaos in a close election. Correcting deceased and duplicate records now will help to preemptively address those risks."
Primary balloting in the state begins May 17.

The foundation's audit began in late 2019 with the tracking of a sample of registered voters that matched the Social Security Death Index – to see how long it usually took the state's Board of Elections to remove them from the voter roll after they were listed as deceased.
About 12,940 deceased registrants were found in spring 2020. And according to the index, 95% of them died before 2020. The 7,933 deceased voters still on the roll show that some of the registrants, but not all, have been removed.
The foundation found two instances in which registered voters were dead for about 20 years but not removed from the voter roll until 2021.
A total of 42,984 registered voters in North Carolina left the state and established or renewed their out-of-state voter registration before the 2020 Election.
The foundation used the U.S. Postal Service's National Change of Address system and the organization's national voter database to track voters who moved from North Carolina to another state and determine if they registered there before November 2020.
In North Carolina, a residents loses residential status if they take steps to vote in another state. Thus, while it isn't illegal under state or federal law to be registered to vote in two different places, North Carolina considers "a subsequent registration a disqualifying action," according to the foundation.
To be sure, the names of dead people not being purged from voter rolls and people being registered in two states has always been a challenge for election officials. But numerous statewide audits after the 2020 elections have shed new light on challenges related to voter roll integrity.
About 87% of "interstate duplicate residents cast ballots outside of North Carolina in 2020," whereas just 8% cast ballots in North Carolina, and the rest didn't vote in 2020, the foundation also found.

As Democrats call for increased green energy spending, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband purchased 2,500 shares of Tesla stock, according to a congressional filing.
Published Monday, the filing shows that Paul Pelosi, the Democrat House leader's husband, purchased the Tesla stock on March 17, when the company's share price reached approximately $872 per share by the end of the day.
Pelosi bought the shares at a strike price of $500 per share, and they were worth around $2.18 million at the time of purchase.

“We can confirm the Salem Police Department is investigating a concern brought to us by Salem-Keizer Public Schools (SKPS) regarding potential inappropriate contact with a student by one of their staff members,” law enforcement told The Post Millennial. “The concern was brought to our attention on Monday, March 28, 2022. Salem Police detectives are [investigating] the incident, and since it is an active investigation, we cannot provide any specific details.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations (OFO) officers intercepted a mixed load of methamphetamine, fentanyl and heroin with an estimated street value of more than $402,000 in one enforcement action.
“Drug trafficking organizations are persistent in their attempts to smuggle hard narcotics into the United States," said Acting Port Director Gilberto Calderon, Eagle Pass Port of Entry. "As this seizure aptly illustrates, through hard work and vigilance, we will continue to intercept these dangerous drugs at our port of entry before they can harm our communities."

The seizure occurred on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at the Camino Real International Bridge, when a CBP officer referred a pickup truck for secondary inspection. Following a canine and non-intrusive imaging system examination, CBP officers discovered a total of 13 packages containing 12.9 pounds of alleged methamphetamine, 4.9 pounds of alleged fentanyl and 2.4 pounds of alleged black tar heroin concealed within two ice chests found in the bed of the truck. The narcotics had an estimated street value of $402,779.
CBP seized the narcotics, vehicle. Homeland Security Investigations special agents are investigating the seizure.
