Disney corp is a multifaceted corporation. Not only do they produce film and cartoons but they have theme parks and cruise ship lines and they sell a diverse variety of children's toys.
Does it surprise you to find out that Disney theme parks and cruise ships are rampant with child abuse and rape? In fact as far back as 1998,when a 20 year veteran investigative journalist named Brian Ross of ABC News picked up on a story linking child rape and “pedophilia” to relaxed security at Disney theme parks. The journalist did a research study comparing the abuse that occurred in multiple theme parks and the statistics confirm that Disney parks had a higher rate of child abuse than other parks. An important detail that the reporter mentioned was that Disney parks did not work well or corporate with enforcement officers.The story was ultimately canned right before it was supposed to air on an ABC 20/20 -i find it important to note that ABC is owned by Disney. Should we be surprised that DISNEY shelved and essentially silenced a story that exposed their theme parks for not protecting children from predators?
