The Art Of Fighting Demons
Revelation 12:9-12
1 John 1:5-10
Mark 9:29
Luke 10:17
Ephesians 6:10-20
Mark 9:23
Luke 10:19
James 3:13-18
You cannot reason with a demon.
You must be true in faith concerning the power of the Holy Spirit working through The Messiah Jesus under the authority of God - the Father of Righteousness and Love, The Author of Heaven and Earth - and express that power with every breath and heartbeat from the depths of your soul. Then witness the demon retreat! In that moment, praise Jesus for His sacrifice as it forgives the sins of everyone who repents and then pray to the Holy Spirit for the demon to cease and abstain from error and embrace the power of righteousness. Eternal life belongs to the children of God as death is the wages of sin.
So why isn't 'The Master Of Error' dead yet? How many people living by Jesus's name that the Holy Spirit can work through does it take to bring an end to Satan?
-
All of them. The more the better. Even if it's only two people.
Where are you?
God will never cleanse Satan until the tool to define good and evil, righteousness and wickedness, is no longer needed - which is all Satan is. So because we are all born without a memory, that tool has and will be a fixture in the lives of humanity for quite some time and blood will be continuously spilled.
Words are computer instructions for the brain. Who's your programmer??
Here's my version of an old Catholic prayer exploiting the protection of the Archangel Saint Michael that should help guide you…
O Mighty God, please come to my assistance.
O Lord, make haste to help me.
Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit!
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim,
may the Lord make me worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim,
may the Lord grant me the grace to leave the ways of sin and walk in the path of righteousness.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Thrones,
may the Lord infuse into my heart a true and sincere spirit of humility.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Dominations,
may the Lord give me grace to govern my senses and overcome unruly passions.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues,
may the Lord preserve me from evil and avoid temptation.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Powers,
may the Lord protect my soul against the snares of the devil.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities,
may God fill my soul with a true spirit of honor.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels,
may the Lord give me perseverance in faith and in all good works that lead us to the glory of Heaven.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name! …
By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels,
may the Lord grant me protection by them to help me serve God more and more faithfully every day.
O Blessed Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name!
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
I praise You this day for the love I witnessed
and the forgiving of my transgressions, as I forgave those who offended me.
Your wisdom guides me from temptation and your compassion has preserved me from evil.
Your blessings refresh and exalt my life!
I pray my journey to Your light is always in step with Your will, O Lord,
my strength and my redeemer, to whom my soul is entrusted. Amen
anon just gained this understanding well enough to share it. Sorry for the embarrassment this post causes but I'm not to blame for that.
When I was a kid learning this prayer in Sunday school, I thought it was a stupid joke - I don't think that any more because it is about asking God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for the most supreme aid you could ever hope for when you finally realize you need some real help pulling your head out of your ass.
You fight demons by first ending Your connection to them and this is a proven method for doing that. Jesus said, "Since when do the righteous need saving?" - it's when you realize you're not all that righteous. Then you can help others and in doing so, you can reach the next level which is dealing with restless spirits.
