So yesterday about this time I posted that there was a large xray flare right over the Americas and sure enough it was caused by an X-class solar flare headed this way.
What are the odds that nearly the exact same thing happens again today at nearly the same time?
These images look the same, but check the times. One is yesterday, the other today from about an hour ago.

That was yesterday's X-class pop around 1730Z showing up clear as bell…today's should be a tad bigger based on the xray flux…although they're saying it's an M9 ish…the flux from today's is bigger.
Yeah, the sun is cranking up. Those Kp indexes are today's double M flare arrival. The X flare from yesterday and apparently today are on the way. Weird that it keeps launching directly at us. Over, and over, and over, and over now. That's just this week.
