Good morning to all the real anons.. drinking covfefe with local cream and maple sap. Yes, you can tap a tree and use the liquid before you boil it into sap. It's like mild sugar water.
Tip - those of you who like real maple syrup, expect to pay more this year. Sap is running very slow this year, not just here in the n midwest, but everywhere. Not sure why. Have a good day everyone :)
