That show was reported at 1.6 million. Biggest I ever attended was the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert in London at Wembley Stadium with only 72,000. The show sold out in three hours before any bands for the show were ever announced. Metallica opened and I was front row against the barricades, center stage. Good times!
