The story behind the story. Two German brothers in Germany, following Nike, started an athletic shoe company. One of the brothers name was Adolph. Familiar name: Adi (ah-dee). The brothers couldn't get along, they broke up and competed with each other, not with nike. Adolph named his gmbh Adidas (ah-dee-das), his brother named his gmbh Puma. The rest is history. Moral? To this day westerners have no clue, they incorrectly pronounce the gmbh Adidas as 'ah-dee-das' and not 'adi-das'. It's called public relations.
Yeah anon. Shit like this does the same to me. Oldanon spent a lifetime knowing people did bad things, heck I did a few myself, but things like I've learned in the last 5 years of what evil people do, it's still difficult for me. Never in my lifetime did I think any human would do such things. That they would not only do such inhumane things, but even get enjoyment doing them.
