Naw it was video games. Our moms always booted us out of the house to go play and "be back home when the streetlights came on" but once video games came out some kids were only ever seen at school after that. The spent their free time playing video games at home or at arcades.

The ironic part is that if all those kids pumping quarters into video machines had put them into a retirement account at that age instead, they'd all be millionaires now but now they're broke drinking Bud Light.!

Kek! Besides being poor, I was a tightwad with my money at that young age. It killed me to see kids drop $10 in quarters into those machines day after day.

Not too many would be my guess. I wouldn't have been here in my 20's. I had life by the balls back then and was having all kinds of fun. Little did I know it was the last of the "good old days".
