Finnish President Sauli Niinisto claims polls already show public support for the US-led military bloc

The president of Finland, which borders Russia, has claimed that the widespread support for NATO membership expressed in recent opinion polls could pave the way for joining the US-led military bloc without a referendum. The attitude of the Finns towards NATO membership took a U-turn following Moscow's attack on Ukraine.

“NATO needs to know that there is popular support. We already have that, in my view,” Sauli Niinisto told Yle on Wednesday.

He added that, given the favorable polls, the country would not need a referendum on joining the bloc if it receives supermajority support in parliament.

Support for NATO membership reached a record-high 62% in Finland this month, according to a poll by Yle. A poll commissioned by Helsingin Sanomat and released this week shows that 61% of Finns want their country to join the bloc.

This indicates a complete reversal of public opinion after Moscow sent its forces into Ukraine – according to Yle, previous polls showed that Finns were against NATO membership.

Prime Minister Sanna Marin said on Saturday that Moscow’s actions had forced Helsinki to reexamine its security policy, and a decision on NATO must be made this spring. “Russia is not the neighbor we thought it was,” she said. The countries share a 1,340-kilometer (832 miles) land border.

Moscow attacked Ukraine in late February, following Kiev’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements signed in 2014, and Russia’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics in Donetsk and Lugansk. The German and French brokered Minsk Protocol was designed to regularize the status of the regions within the Ukrainian state.

Russia has now demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join NATO. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

Gazprom Halts Gas Shipments To Europe Via Critical Pipeline

Instead of flowing toward Germany and the EU, gas supplies on Friday and Saturday started flowing in the opposite direction, according to Gascade, the network operator.

Ukraine Announces Million Dollars Reward Per Russian Helicopter, Fighter Jet, Warship

Ukrainian farmers have been stealing tanks and other Russian military equipment with their tractors. Videos have surfaced online in recent weeks, and the question many have asked is what happens with all the captured war machines?

It just so happens that the Ukrainian parliament (also known as Rada) passed a new measure rewarding anyone, even Russian soldiers, to turn over equipment to Ukraine for a reward.

"For a helicopter - 500 thousand dollars, a tank - 100 thousand, respectively. If, for example, someone is ready to come to us by plane - it's a million dollars," the first vice-speaker of the Ukrainian parliament Oleksandr Kornienko said in a statement Saturday.

Disgraced School Cop Pleads Guilty to Sexually Assaulting At Least 7 Children He Was Tasked With ‘Protecting’

River Falls, WI — While most parents of school children in the United States will take comfort in knowing a police officer is at their child’s school, all too often, school cops are caught committing the vilest of offenses. Videos surface almost monthly of cops beating and abusing students for no reason, which is bad enough. But when they aren’t beating students, school cops are often times caught sexually abusing them. Case in point: a school resource officer in Wisconsin pleaded guilty this week to multiple charges for sexually assaulting at least 7 students.

Disgraced Cottage Grove police officer Adam Pelton, 42, was charged in 2020 with three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of fourth-degree sexual conduct, all felonies. Perkins was accused of sexually groping seven female children and attempting to solicit nude photos from one of them on multiple occasions.

On Monday, Pelton admitted guilty in Washington County District Court to three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. Unlike other cops who take plea deals for special sentencing, Pelton was offered no such deal. He is scheduled to be sentenced in June.

According to authorities, the assaults took place from Sept. 1, 2018, until Oct. 4, 2019. No more occurred after October because Pelton was put on paid leave in the wake of the investigation into his string of sexual assaults.

According to the criminal complaint, as reported by the Star Tribune:

Reports by several students of “inappropriate sexual contact” initiated by Pelton prompted authorities to ask the Apple Valley Police Department to investigate. Students alleged that Pelton repeatedly initiated hugs from them during which he would touch their buttocks over their clothing.

Most of these interactions occurred in Pelton’s private school office, which lacked video surveillance. However, video was located that showed Pelton initiating hugs with female students in the halls.

Several students also reported that Pelton would often call or refer to them as “beautiful” and “sweetheart.” One of them disclosed that he told her that if he were her age, he would date her. She also said Pelton sent her Snapchat messages over summer break. In one of the messages, he made lunch plans with her.

Pelton’s victims ranged in age from 13-17. Because he was in a position of authority, the girls were scared to report Pelton, with some of them thinking they couldn’t report him.

“We aren’t going to say anything, I mean, he’s a police officer,” read the complaint.

Ukrainian refugees massing at US-Mexico border

Ukrainian refugees are camping at the US border and their numbers have swelled since the war in Ukraine began.

Hundreds of Ukrainians have now found themselves in the border town of Tijuana, seeking asylum in the United States. Around 600 are camped along the border, while another 500 are holed up in hotels in the city, according to Enrique Lucero, Tijuana’s migration affairs director. About 40% of those who have arrived are children.

“I couldn’t cry in Ukraine. I thank you even for my tears,” Valentina Shymanveska, a native of war-ravaged Kharkiv, said. “For this place, this food, and the dream of life until [Ukraine’s] victory.”

The Russian invasion has sparked the greatest European refugee crisis since World War II, with millions of Ukrainians now displaced from their homes. President Biden has promised to accept 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.

NIH & EcoHealth ‘Acted Badly’, Admits Chairman of Compromised COVID-19 Origins Commission.

National Pulse reporting on the origins of COVID-19 have been vindicated by the people at the forefront of the investigation.

The chairman of the Lancet medical journal’s COVID-19 Commission – one of the foremost scientific groups supporting the “natural origins” theory – admitted that the National Institute of Health and its grant recipients, including Peter Daszak’s EcoHealth Alliance, “acted badly” with a “lack of transparency.”

The admission from Chairman Jeffrey Sachs follows extensive National Pulse reporting into the conflicts of interest – through research funding and personnel – held by individuals placed on the Lancet’s “Origins, Early Spread of the Pandemic, and One Health Solutions to Future Pandemic Threats” committee.

Amongst the high-profile individuals on the committee was Peter Daszak, President of EcoHealth Alliance, which received millions in taxpayer funds from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci, which ultimately supported research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Daszak’s described the research he conducted alongside his “Chinese colleagues,” including “bat lady” Shi Zhengli, as manipulating bat coronaviruses into “killer viruses.”

Daszak, who has led conferences sponsored by Chinese Communist Party-run scientific organizations, has also co-authored studies funded by the Chinese government and participated in conferences conducted by state-run media outlets. As evidence of his longstanding relationship with Chinese Communist Party scientists influencing his outlook on the origins of COVID-19, Daszak has also claimed that people “misunderstand the Chinese government” while defending the regime’s handling of COVID-19.

While speaking to Vanity Fair about the committee, which was widely viewed as responsible for pressuring scientists and mainstream media outlets to silence debate about the validity of the “lab leak theory,” Sachs admitted:

“[Daszak] and NIH have acted badly.”

“There has been a lack of transparency…and there is a lot more to know and that can be known,” he added.

White House Refuses to Rule out Joe Biden Pardon for Hunter Biden

The White House refused to rule out President Joe Biden issuing a presidential pardon for his son Hunter Biden or for his brother James Biden as federal investigations continue over their foreign business dealings.

“That’s not a hypothetical I’m going to entertain,” White House communications director Kate Bedingfield said during the daily press briefing when asked about a potential pardon “I don’t have anything to add from this podium.”

Bedingfield was reluctant to address any aspect of the Hunter Biden story, after CNN, The Washington Post, and the New York Times recently published stories about the federal tax probe into Hunter Biden and his foreign business deals.

When asked additional questions about Hunter Biden and the president’s brother James Biden, Bedingfield would only reply, “I don’t have anything further to add from this podium.”

CNN reported the investigation has “gained steam” as a growing number witnesses are scheduled to testify in the case.

The Washington Post confirmed reports from other media outlets that Biden was paid nearly $5 million by the CEFC China Energy conglomerate — even though Joe Biden denied during the campaign that his son made any money in China.

“My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about, China,” Biden said during the third presidential debate moderated by NBC’s Kristen Welker.

Bedingfield said the White House stood by Biden’s claim, despite reporting proving it false.

“We absolutely stand by the president’s comment,” Bedingfield told Welker when asked for an update on Biden’s debate claim.

The Countries That Locked Down The Hardest Are Now Being Decimated By COVID-19

Several of the countries that pursued a “zero-COVID” strategy or otherwise implemented harsh lockdown restrictions are now facing their most devastating waves of the pandemic.

In the U.S., COVID-19 has been on a steady decline since January in terms of both cases and deaths. In places like China, South Korea and New Zealand, officials that were once lauded for a highly effective pandemic response are now facing drastic spikes in cases and deaths.

China implemented perhaps the most draconian measures in the world to fight COVID-19, deploying advanced tech to track each citizen’s every movement, lock people in their homes if exposed to the virus and shutting down entire cities at the first sign of a small outbreak. Numbers reported by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which are disputed by many experts, painted a picture of a massive country keeping spread of the virus to an impressively limited level. According to CCP data, the country averaged less than 200 cases per day from March 2020 all the way until February 2022.

Now, the country is being overwhelmed with outbreaks. Nearly one-third of the total cases in the country for the entirety of the pandemic occurred in March. March 19, CCP authorities reported the country’s first COVID-19 deaths since January 2021. Military reserves have been activated to prevent people from leaving cities or even buildings where outbreaks have been detected. Parts of Shanghai, China’s financial center, and its 26 million residents have been locked down.

Things have gotten so bad that the government which has prided itself on the “zero-COVID” strategy, which maintains that authorities can limit the virus to zero spread whatsoever with proper measures, has reportedly been reconsidering pursuing the goal of zero-COVID. The strategy has become untenable as the virus proves that spread is inevitable, no matter how hard a police state may lock down.

In Hong Kong, authorities are preparing to finally begin relaxing some restrictions after the city faced its worst wave of the pandemic in throughout March. From September 2021 to Feb. 8 2022, Hong Kong reported zero COVID-19 deaths, their total death count remaining stagnant at 213 since the pandemic began. Now, just two months later, the total death count in the city stands at 7,825. Ninety-seven percent of the city’s deaths occurred in a two-month span, two years into the pandemic and more than a year after vaccines became available.

UK Govt Allows Sale of Largest Microchip Factory to Communist Chinese-Owned Firm: Report

The British government has reportedly approved the sale of the United Kingdom’s largest microchip factory to a firm owned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), despite concerns over national security.

Newport Wafer Fab (NWF) in Wales, which was forced last year to sell its factory to after failing to pay its debts, will apparently be allowed by the government to be sold to the Chinese-owned firm Nexperia.

According to a report from POLITICO, a review from the government’s national security adviser, Stephen Lovegrove, found that the sale of the semiconductor producer to China did not rise to the level of presenting a national security risk. Under the National Security and Investment Act, should the sale have been determined to present such a risk, the government could have prevented the sale.

An unnamed official told the news outlet that Lovegrove came to the decision to allow the sale to go forward due to Newport Wafer Fab using 20-year-old technology which the Chinese already have access to.

When the sale was first announced last year it came under considerable scrutiny, given the vital importance to the economy that semiconductors play, being a critical component of most modern technologies, and in light of the supply chain concerns following the Chinese coronavirus crisis.

A whistleblower had also previously told CNBC that Newport Wafer Fab had received approximately £55 million ($75 million) in taxpayer funds and defence contracts for the development of next-generation tech, including £5.4 million to work on radar systems for fighter jets.

“I don’t think anybody realised that there were a couple of defence-related projects in there,” the whistleblower said at the time.

Nexperia, which is based in the Netherlands and has offices in Britain, is owned by JAC Capital, a subsidiary of JIC Capital, a Chinese state-owned investment firm. Nexperia claims to be run independently.

The firm only had to pay £63 million to take over ownership of the Welsh factory — a figure which Forrester analyst Glenn O’Donnell characterised last year as “minuscule”, explaining: “Most wafer fabs cost well over £1 billion. Even if this is older tech, this deal is ridiculously cheap.”

‘Zero Accountability’ – Police Cleared in Rotherham ‘Grooming’ Rape Gangs Scandal

The investigation into the police’s handling of the Rotherham grooming gang scandal, in which an estimated 1,400 young girls were sexually abused, has failed to impose any criminal penalties or see any officers fired for misconduct.

In a decision widely condemned by victims’ rights activists, politicians, and lawyers, the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) has cleared former detective David Walker of any wrongdoing in the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal. The decision to not punish Walker means that all 47 officers who were investigated following the 2014 Jay Report in grooming gang failures have not faced punishment.

Walker, formerly of the of the South Yorkshire Police, had been accused of ignoring tips about potential child grooming, but the IOPC claims that he “acted appropriately with any information” provided to him, the BBC reports.

Jayne Senior MBE, a key witness in the inquiry who ran the Risky Business youth project between 1999 and 2011, said that the former detective had failed to investigate information about two young teenage girls being sexually abused by a taxi driver, with Senior claiming he had said: “This appears to be a matter for social services.”

Providing evidence to the inquest this week, Walker claimed to have been working on up to 180 cases at any given time. He went on to admit that he did not always record information regarding child sex abuse in police databases, but said that the information was sent to other officers or there was a reasonable expectation that other officers would investigate.

Former police detective turned rape gang whistleblower Maggie Oliver said that the decision to clear all the officers involved in the Rotherham scandal demonstrated the “corrupt” nature of investigations into police.

“Expectations are far too low, senior officers should be monitoring and supervising these decisions anyway, and standards are just not high enough when it comes to children being raped!” Oliver wrote on social media.

“But unfortunately I am not shocked. We see this all too often, and usually these cases aren’t brought to public attention. But they are not rare.

“It’s corrupt! They should ALL hang their heads in shame. It still makes my blood boil even after all these years!”

Biden’s nuke review omits ‘no first use’, kills naval cruise missile

President Joe Biden has walked back from his longtime preferred policy of “no first use” of nuclear weapons, according to his administration’s 2022 Nuclear Posture Review, which also seeks to shrink nuclear arsenals, starting with a new missile introduced under Donald Trump.

His long-awaited policy review says the United States “would only consider the use of nuclear weapons in extreme circumstances to defend the vital interests of the United States or its allies and partners,” according to a three-paragraph summary released by the Pentagon Tuesday.

During his campaign, candidate Biden said he continued to support the idea of a “no first use” policy: that the United States would launch a nuclear weapon only in response to a nuclear attack. But this support never became official policy for the United States, which has for decades maintained a policy of “flexible deterrence.”

“The Nuclear Posture Review language does not apply exclusively to nuclear attack but extends to extreme circumstances that would require the United States to defend allies and partners,” assistant defense secretary for international security affairs Celeste Wallander told the House Armed Services Committee Wednesday.

The summary said the administration will pursue “strategic stability, seek to avoid costly arms races, and facilitate risk reduction and arms control arrangements where possible.”

“The NPR underscores our commitment to reducing the role of nuclear weapons and reestablishing our leadership in arms control,” it said.

It added that the full unclassified version of the NPR and also of the 2022 Missile Defense Review would be “forthcoming.”

In a background briefing with reporters before the release of the proposed 2023 budget, a senior defense official confirmed that the Navy’s nuclear Sea-Launched Cruise Missile, SLCM-N, had been defunded as a result of the 2022 posture review and “direction from the President to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in our defense strategy.”

SLCM-N was announced by the Trump administration in its own 2018 Nuclear Posture Review. It was intended to provide the Navy a nuclear cruise missile, about a decade after the last of its nuclear Tomahawk cruise missiles were retired in 2013.

At the time of its retirement, the Federation of American Scientists wrote that the Navy was “finally out of the non-strategic nuclear weapons business.” The Tomahawk nuclear cruise missile “had little military value but huge political consequences when they sailed into ports of allied countries whose governments were forced to ignore violation of their own non-nuclear policies.”

Federal authorities arrest accused Liberian war criminal ‘Dragon Master’ living in Philadelphia

A Liberian immigrant living in Philadelphia has been arrested by federal authorities and charged with fraudulently hiding his background as a high-ranking member of a rebel group — he called himself “Dragon Master” — that is accused of committing atrocities during a Liberian civil war.

Laye Sekou Camara, of Southwest Philadelphia, is accused of lying about his background in 2011 to obtain a visa to enter the United States and then later to obtain a green card.

Camara then allegedly used the green card to falsely characterize his background on a Pennsylvania identification application in 2017, according to a criminal complaint submitted to Magistrate Judge Richard A. Lloret and publicly filed last week. Camara is charged with the use of an immigration document obtained by fraud.

In news accounts dating back to 2003, during and shortly after the conflict known as the Second Liberian Civil War, prosecutors say Camera is identified as a brigadier general with the rebel faction known as Liberians United for Reconciliation and Democracy, or LURD. Liberia’s first civil war was fought for most of the 1990s and left hundreds of thousands of civilians dead.

U.S. authorities have led the charge in recent years to bring Liberian war criminals to justice — particularly in Philadelphia, where thousands of refugees fleeing the conflict were relocated in the 1990s and 2000s.

In 2018, a federal judge sentenced Mohammed Jabateh, 54, of Lansdowne, to 30 years in prison for hiding his past as a brutal warlord.

That same year, a jury convicted Jucontee Thomas Woewiyu — a past spokesperson for Charles Taylor, a Liberian president later found guilty by an international war-crimes tribunal — for lying to U.S. immigration authorities about his complicity in war crimes committed by Taylor’s regime. He died in 2020 before he could be sentenced.

Details of Camara’s arrest were not immediately available.

In the criminal complaint, officials said the investigation began in July.

The complaint cites a human-rights report published by the U.S. Department of State about the second civil war that identifies “Sekou Kamara” as being called General Dragon Master and General K1. He is described at the time as “in hiding after he allegedly killed a fellow LURD General known as Black Marine.”

The complaint says Camara was identified in a photo of LURD rebels published in the New York Times in 2003. He also appears in a 2004 documentary titled “Liberia: An Uncivil War.” Camara is seen standing behind then-U.S. Ambassador John Blaney.

Blaney was interviewed as part of the investigation and he recalled dealing with Camara and another commander known as General Cobra.

“Ambassador Blaney stated that General Dragon Master was a high-ranking and active combatant in LURD, which he described as a large and formidable Liberian rebel group engaged in atrocities during Liberia’s Second Civil War, and that General Dragon Master would not be someone who meets visa issuance criteria,” according to the complaint.

When Camara first applied in 2011 for a visa to enter the United States, he falsely answered that he had never been a member or involved in a paramilitary unit, vigilante group, rebel group, guerrilla or insurgent organization, the complaint states.

That led to Camara obtaining a green card, which he later fraudulently used on the Pennsylvania identification application, the complaint says.

Shell unable to buy Russian gas due to London’s anti-Russian stance - Kremlin spokesman

Shell’s inability to buy Russian gas is a side effect of London’s anti-Russian policies, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has told TASS.

"London wants to be the leader of everything anti-Russian, it even wants to be ahead of Washington [in this matter]. Well, here are the side effects," Peskov said, commenting on the fact that, in contrast with other EU countries, the United Kingdom imposed sanctions on Gazprombank and is now unable to pay for Russian gas, even in rubles.

Bloomberg reported on Friday that Shell will most likely be unable to pay for Russian gas this month, because the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on Gazprombank.

Last week Russian President Vladimir Putin requested moving payments for gas supplies to unfriendly countries to rubles, saying that Moscow would refuse accepting payments on such contracts in discredited currencies, including dollars and euros. He also tasked the government with giving Gazprom an instruction on amending present contracts. On March 31, Putin signed a decree on rules of gas trade with unfriendly countries, which stipulates a new system of contract payment.

The new procedure of payment for Russian pipeline gas in rubles by buyers from unfriendly countries came into force on April 1. Such buyers are required to open special ruble and foreign currency accounts with Gazprombank to pay for gas supplies. Currency conversion will be carried out on Russian exchanges. In case of incomplete payment, the Russian customs is authorized to ban deliveries. The government commission for the control of foreign investment in Russia has the right to issue exceptions to these rules for individual buyers.

On March 20, 2022, Mikhail Mezintsev, the head of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, stated that Russia sent an official appeal to the UN, OSCE, and the Committee of the Red Cross to invite members of the organizations to participate in accompanying practical measures of the humanitarian operation, which is carried out by Russia.

On 28 March, the Red Cross expressed its readiness to open an office in Rostov-on-Don to provide assistance to evacuated Ukrainian citizens.

As a result, the head of the Ukrainian parliamentary health committee Mikhail Radutsky urged the Red Cross not to do so. The official states that «the aggressor country abducts and forcibly removes Ukrainian citizens under the guise of evacuation». Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk accused the head of the organization, Peter Maurer, of making a “very questionable decision” to open the station, which is 60 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Red Cross denied accusations of any forced evacuation of Ukrainian refugees to a facility in Rostov-on-Don in Russia.

“The ICRC never helps to organize or conduct forced evacuations. This applies to all the places where we work. We will not support any operation that goes against the will of the people and our principles,” the statement reads. Representatives of the Red Cross also said: “At the moment, we do not have a representative office in Rostov-on-Don. We are scaling up our activities to be able to meet needs where they arise.”

On March 29, the DPR Commissioner for Human Rights, Darya Morozova, reported violations of the Geneva Convention of August 12, 1949, on the territory of Ukraine. It is reported that Russian prisoners of war are being tortured in the Kharkiv region. Daria Morozova appealed to the Head of the delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine Pascal Hundt and the Head of the UN monitoring mission on human rights in Ukraine Matilde Bogner to intervene in the situation, give a proper legal assessment of the actions of Ukraine and take urgent measures to prevent the torture of citizens in the future.

Earlier, the Kyiv authorities accused the Red Cross of cooperating with Russia. The Ukrainian side ignores the torture of Russian servicemen. Ukrainian militants shelled Red Cross offices in Mariupol and Chernihiv. The Russian military has to paint over the Red Cross symbols to prevent Ukrainian fighters from focusing fire on Red Cross vehicles.

The head of the ICRC press service, Evan Watson, claimed “deliberate disinformation attacks on Red Cross and Crescent employees”, adding that representatives of the pro-Ukrainian Mariupol city council deceived the public with the words that the ICRC “indulges in the forced removal of city residents to the Russian Federation”. In its turn, Ukraine pledged to open humanitarian corridors after another round of negotiations with Moscow. However, it made no effort to facilitate the evacuation of Mariupol residents from the basements.

Republicans pointed out that she had a pattern of giving these perverts lenient sentences, while Democrats made excuses for her and kept gushing over her status as a black woman.” And it’s even worse than we thought: investigative journalist Paul Sperry revealed Saturday that Jackson “heard horrifying details of ‘sadomasochistic’ torture of young kids — including ‘infants and toddlers’ — yet challenged the disturbing evidence presented by prosecutors and disregarded their prison recommendations to give the lightest possible punishments in each case.”

Not only that but “in some cases, she even apologized to some of the kiddie-porn perverts for having to follow the statutes, which she called ‘substantially flawed.’” Jackson repeatedly “made excuses for the sex fiends’ criminal behavior and cut them slack in defiance of investigators and prosecutors — and sometimes even probation officers serving her court — who argued for tougher sentences because the cases were particularly egregious or the defendants weren’t remorseful.” This contradicts Biden’s handlers’ claims that her light sentences for child pornographers were “mainstream” and within “normal range.”

The details are stomach-churning. “In July 2020,” Sperry reports, “Jackson gave the bare minimum sentence to a defendant convicted of distributing images and videos of infants being sexually abused, and who had boasted of molesting his 13-year-old cousin, even though she knew the defendant refused ‘to take full responsibility’ for his crimes, a transcript reveals.” The offender whom Jackson ensured got off lightly had posted a nude image of a two-year-old girl and a video of sex with a prepubescent girl.

Nor was that an isolated case. In April 2021, when sentencing a man who had distributed child pornography, Jackson dismissed his crimes as not “especially egregious,” despite the fact that “among the more than 600 images prosecutors told the judge he traded were sexually explicit pics depicting bondage of infants and toddlers,” and even worse. Yet as she gave this man a light sentence, Jackson remarked: “I’m really reluctant to get into the nature of the porn. I don’t find persuasive the government’s arguments concerning why they think that this is a particularly egregious child pornography offense, which means I struggled to find a good reason to impose a sentence that is more severe in this case.”

Mike Davis of the Article III Project, which advocates for a responsible judiciary, said that Jackson “served as the tip of the spear in weakening federal sentencing policy for child pornographers as vice chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission, where she ignored the advice of expert witnesses who disputed her theory that child pornographers are somehow not pedophiles.”

Russia Strikes Ukrainian Oil Refinery Owned by Igor Kolomoisky After Ukrainian Chopper Attack

Russia responded to Ukraine's chopper attack on an oil depot inside Russia by conducting a strike on Ukraine's only oil refinery plant – which is owned by corrupt Israeli-Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.

Though the Zelensky regime has shut down Ukrainians from sharing footage of war damage, Russia went ahead and shared video of the strike themselves.

The Russian military targeted the major oil refinery in the central Ukrainian city in a series of strikes, including "high-precision long-range and sea-based weapons," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told CNN. The strikes destroyed storage facilities holding gasoline and diesel fuels for Ukrainian troops in the country's eastern and central regions.

Russian forces also used high precision air-based missiles to hit military airfields in cities to the east of Kremenchuk, including Poltava and Dnipro, Konashenkov added.

Though Ukraine's chopper attack on Russia was expertly executed the end result may just be more devastation of Ukrainian infrastructure, which Russia has clearly been trying to avoid.

The lead investigator for the House Intelligence Committee’s 2018 probe into the FBI’s investigation of alleged Trump–Russia collusion, Kash Patel, said the fact that the Hilary Clinton campaign is paying a penalty to Federal Election Commission (FEC) is an admittance of guilt. Clinton and DNC are doing so to bury the narrative and prevent more media coverage of these illegal activities, said Patel.

“I think the public sees what that is. It’s their way of burying the narrative, because if they contested what happens, more media coverage, more people start looking into these things,” Patel said.

“So the Hillary Clinton campaign is not contesting it, they’re paying the fine. It’s basically admitting that they did this and they’re out is: ‘we just don’t want a protracted legal deal, as if the Hillary Clinton campaign and DNC ever shied away from taking something or someone to court,” Patel added.

Clinton’s campaign and the DNC agreed to pay a combined $113,000 to the FEC, according to documents made public on March 30, after the commission found probable cause that the entities violated federal law by describing payments that ultimately went to the Fusion GPS research group as going toward legal services and consulting.

“It shows them how wrong they were to violate the law and spend political campaign dollars on hit job, opposition research pieces for then-candidate Trump, all of which, [to] remind the audience, was then used intentionally by the FBI—even though they knew it was false—to go to a federal secret court and surveil a presidential candidate and later a president of the United States.”

The FEC, which is responsible for overseeing federal elections, including the presidential election, found that the Hillary Clinton campaign broke FEC rules about how donations can be used.

“What we knew when we ran the Russiagate investigation, Chairman Nunes and I, we exposed that the Hillary Clinton campaign paid for the Steele dossier, an opposition research hit job. We had proven that some years ago,” said Patel.

“What the Coolidge Reagan Foundation did … based on our investigation, said ‘wait a second FEC, you as a political campaign cannot spend political dollars launching opposition research, false or otherwise,’” said Patel.

Russia Would Like to Continue Talks With Ukraine in Belarus, But Kiev Doesn't Want to Do So - Peskov

Russian and Ukrainian officials held the first three rounds of peace talks in Belarus before switching to a virtual format, and then to face-to-face negotiations in Turkey. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who has been facilitating talks between Moscow and Kiev since 2014, expressed readiness to continue providing a negotiations platform.

Russia would like to continue peace negotiations with Ukraine in Belarus, but Kiev didn't want them to be held there from the very start, and isn't ready to continue them there today, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

"In order for negotiations between two parties to take place, especially between parties which have such a complex [relationship] as Russia and Ukraine do today, it's necessary to have the mutual consent of all sides. And, in fact, the first two rounds of talks which took place in Belarus came with great difficulty", Peskov said, speaking to Belarusian television on Saturday.

The Ukrainian side "actually didn't want to go there until the final moment", he revealed, recalling that when the Russian delegation arrived for the first round of negotiations, they had to wait for the Ukrainians for nearly a day, and did not know whether they would come or not.

"We would be happy to continue negotiations in Belarus, but the Ukrainians don't want this. For some reason, it's not convenient for them. But you must admit that the main thing is to find a place where it's possible to converge with the Ukrainian negotiators, and that talks continue, whether it's in Istanbul or somewhere else", Peskov said.

The spokesman said the peace negotiations continue to be difficult. Contemporary Ukraine is a "very difficult country" for Moscow, Peskov said, noting that in its current state, Kiev's status is best described as "hostile".

Unknown to most Americans, the US government is channeling financial support, weapons and training to a Neo-Nazi entity –which is part of The Ukraine National Guard– The Azov Battalion (Батальйон Азов). Canada and Britain have confirmed that they also are providing support to the National Guard.

The Azov Battalion -which “officially” displays the Nazi SS emblem– (below left) is described by the Kiev regime as “a volunteer battalion of territorial defense”. The Azov battalion supported by its Western partners is not only involved in para-military operations in Eastern Ukraine. According to reports including the Kyiv Post (Ukraine mainstream media), it is running a Summer Camp military training project for young children as part of its broader training and indoctrination program.

Flood of Families Cancel Disney Memberships over Woke Company’s Leftist Agenda: ‘Walt Would Turn over In His Grave’

A flood of families are canceling their Disney memberships — from amusement parks to Disney+ streaming — over the woke entertainment company’s leftist, LGBTQIA+ agenda, with one parent noting, “Walt would turn over in his grave” if he saw what Disney has become.

Loyal Disney consumers and saying the company has gotten out of control with its wokeness in recent years and now they believe there’s a left-wing political agenda in virtually every facet of the company — from its movies, streaming service shows, to its theme parks and other offerings from its entertainment and media conglomerate.

Last year, Disney banned gender from its park greetings, replacing “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, dreamers of all ages,” with “Good evening, dreamers of all ages.”

Biden’s Deputies Demand State Welfare Agencies ‘Affirm LGBT Children’

President Joe Biden’s deputies are pressuring the 50 states’ child welfare agencies to ensure that abandoned or homeless kids who declare an “LGBT” identity must be placed with foster homes and organizations that “affirm” their claimed sexual status.

“Each title IV-E agency should be particularly vigilant about placing LGBTQI+ children and youth in homes and child-care institutions where they are supported, safe, and can develop as a whole person,” said a federal document, exclusively reported here by Breitbart News.

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) sent a memorandum to state child welfare agencies across the United States on March 2, 2022, issuing guidance on how to “best serve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, and intersex (LGBTQI+1 ) children and youth” in the child welfare system.

The White House on Thursday touted HHS’s recently released guidance, nodding to it in a proclamation for “National Child Abuse Prevention Month.” President Joe Biden appeared to use the proclamation to slam Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), without naming him, claiming the United States is witnessing a “dangerous campaign” from elected officials to “weaponize the child welfare system against families just because they love and affirm their transgender children.”

Abbott notably issued a policy in March ordering Texas’ Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to investigate parents of children who receive hormone therapy and gender-transforming procedures, along with any medical professional who provides such health care, and called such actions “child abuse.” However, a Texas judge issued a temporary restraining order against the directive. Biden in his proclamation seemed to claim that not giving children “gender affirming care” is what actually constitutes child abuse, but he did not mention the disastrous and sometimes irreversible consequences of those treatments on minors.

Western media clubs together to white-wash Ukrainian Neo-Nazis

Multiple outlets use the same talking points, quotes, and ‘experts’ to whitewash Ukraine’s notorious “Azov” regiment

During the last week of March, multiple major media outlets in the UK and the US ran stories about Ukraine’s ‘Azov Batalion’, seeking to whitewash almost a decade of previous reporting that clearly identified the unit’s Nazi sympathies and ethos. Supposedly acting independently, they nonetheless stuck to the same talking points and often the same verbiage, suggesting a concerted effort to spin the unit as heroic defenders of Ukraine against the alleged “real” fascists – the Russians.

The latest wave of the lionization of Azov began sometime before the Russian military operation – notorious was the much-publicized image of an AK-47-wielding Ukrainian granny training to repel invaders in the regiment’s camp. The last week of March, however, saw the puff pieces come in a tight group, like the bullet holes after an AK burst.

The first of the bunch was a ten-minute video, from Britain’s state-broadcaster BBC, on March 27, in which presenter Ros Atkins sought to debunk Russian “untruths” about Nazis in Ukraine. How can Ukraine be “held hostage” by Nazis when its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish, Atkins argues, pointing to his 73% of the vote, at the last election, and triumphantly declaring that, “No far-right groups have any formal political power in Ukraine.” Remember that word, “formal” – it does a lot of heavy lifting here.

Atkins’s piece set the tone for the articles that followed. Two days later, on March 29, the Financial Times ran a story describing Azov as “key to the nationwide resistance effort.” While it acknowledges that Azov was created in 2014 “by volunteers with nationalist and often far-right political leanings,” the FT shrugs off its Nazi connections.

Thus, the Nazi symbols used by the unit itself are described as “now claimed as pagan symbols by some battalion members.” This is taken at face value, but is literally untrue. The “Black Sun” (also known as the Sonnenrad) dates back to a mosaic commissioned in the 1930s by the Nazi SS head Heinrich Himmler, while the overlaid Wolfsangel rune – historical German, not Ukrainian heraldry – was used by several Wehrmacht and SS regiments, as well as the Dutch Nazis, during WWII. More to the point, the symbols themselves were picked out by Azov founder Andriy Biletsky – a notorious white supremacist – as he himself told another outlet back in 2014.

FT reporters actually get a quote from Biletsky – none of this sordid past is mentioned – but the key quote comes from one Anton Shekhovtsov, who claims that “Azov depoliticized itself” and its “history linked to the far-right movement is pretty irrelevant today.” We’re supposed to just take the word of a professional Ukrainian “expert on Russia’s connections to Europe’s far-right,” because, as Azov fighters themselves say, Russians are the real Nazis!
