I sent you the moon phases website twice.

The moon orbits us. We orbit the sun. What would lead you to believe they follow a similar pattern relative to your position.

Why does the moon sometimes wax or wane top to bottom instead of left to right?

I sometimes see a smiling quarter moon. Other times it is shaded sideways.

What gives?

OK. We follow the orbit behind the sun.

Still not relative to my point directed to the moon moron.

60 yrs old just started looking at the moon and now decides to slide the board with easily googled info.
