All of this "Flu" has been a military-type of bioweapon that has been used on humans since World War I.
Governments of the world want us to believe that "flu" is a naturally occurring virus in the environment, when it was actually developed for warfare.
It had to be strong enough and deadly enough to weaken and stop one side or the other from fighting, but it had to be not so virulent as to not allow the users from invading the territory once infected.
