I don't have a problem with that …(pretending he's the President for a sec). The White House is his Residence. So, if he wanted to host is grand daughters wedding at his house as a for instance, nobody would give a damn.
I'd say we can be flexible on that…although, he should probably be picking up the catering bill for guests that aren't State related (i.e. friends and fam that don't carry a diplomatic passport).
