I just watched the big short again the other night. I work in custom home building industry. People are insane spending a shit ton on a lot then building a 750k home on it. They seem clueless on what’s about to hit them. They are going to be so upside down on their mortgages when the market collapses and values tank. They won’t be able to pay when their retirement savings go poof. And a lot of our customers are retired military or current gov employees. What happens to that fat check when the government and financial systems collapse?
