first, at four, you had no REAL concept of death or murder. at that age you would be unable to differentiate real world consequences from the fantasy worlds you had been relentlessly exposed to (cartoons, video games) where characters die and come back to life moments later. second, we are ALL genetically programmed to murder, given the right circumstances. so do not beat yourself up over what you may or may not have almost done at that tender age.
