When my son was 3 years old, he still used a pacifier. We called it a nook-nook. We weaned him down to just using it at nap time and at night but he wouldn't give it up. No matter what kind of reasoning or bribes we came up with, he just wouldn't give it up. We told him he was getting too big for nook-nook, but he just wouldn't buy it.
Finally, spouse anon hid them on the top shelf of a closet and told my son that they all flew away. And that younger children needed them and were using them.
This fantastical explanation was perfectly acceptable to his 3 year old brain.
The reason for this story is that I have begun to think of Libtards as toddlers who when presented with facts, will reject what you have to say. But if you present them with something fanciful, they believe it.
Logic doesn't work on Libtards.
You have to appeal to their emotions.
