I think Elon's a classical liberal.

Twitter's biggest problems are hosting illegal content, and banning conservatives/conspiratards (that often are the ones pointing out the illegal content and bullshit narratives from the MSM) in that order. Right after Elon's move, everyone had super duper bright ideas on how to improve the platform, and the most popular item right now appears to be an "EDIT" feature (are you seriously fucking kidding me? Like, just get better at proofreading or delete/recreate the tweet). What I'm most surprised by is the lack of voices for the illegal content to be removed. Everyone wants an edit button, or to have their accounts unbanned, but the illegal content shit doesn't even seem to be getting an honorable mention, nor even a suggestion remotely smart enough to help solve/eliminate the problem of victims being continuously victimized on the platform. Aside from that most important issue, ultra-conservatives and hyper-liberals are going to have to come to grips with what a true Free Speech platform/town square looks like. Most people can't handle it, but here goes a quick stab at what it would look like:

Pissing off the libtards:

-Everyone gets a voice as long as there's no threat of violence, and the content posted doesn't break any laws or violate anyone's rights per law. That means all those crazy conspiratards get their voices back. Take this a step further and let's see just how serious people are about making it a true town square:

The "Block" feature has to be removed. Mute (filter) button can stay. This will piss off a little bit of everyone (but mostly leftists), but ensures everyone has a voice in whatever conversation they choose to join. Twitter already has a feature to limit who can participate in your conversations, so there is absolutely no reason for a block button, at all, period.

Now, let's pick on conservatives.

-Legally sourced adult content stays. It's protected free speech (like it or not). There's a lot of folks out there crusading to remove pornography as a whole, but according to court precedence, pornography is protected free speech. The biggest hang up is the debate over how to define obscenity. Once you get that defined, it's more clear cut what should be allowed vs what's illegal. Here's the catch (for all you coomers and coomer enablers): If you want to upload adult content, you must have a verified account. Any account hosting adult content that isn't a verified account gets banned, instantly, zero tolerance. This fixes lots of problems, and adheres to this idea of free speech absolutism everyone likes to throw around.

Let's makes these changes to see how everyone's heads explode, and then go from there.

Y'all need to lay off POSO. He's definitely working on ranking up to grandmaster troll. He's no PDJT, but still; very impressive. He hasn't used this bait and switch in a while, and every time he does it, it nearly derails an entire bread all by itself. FFS, give the guy some props; lol.
