Officials warned the public that they’ve had several reports of “aggressive” foxes on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol in Washington.

According to a Twitter message posted Tuesday by the U.S. Capitol Police, they’ve received “several reports of aggressive fox encounters on or near the grounds of the U.S. Capitol.” They warned people not to approach the animals.

Animal control officials are working to “trap and relocate any foxes they find,” the Capitol Police said in their message.

In another message from the Capitol Police on Monday, officials said there had been reports of “individuals being attacked or bitten by a fox.” One of the incidents happened at the nearby U.S. Botanic Garden, and another incident occurred on the House side of the Capitol near the building foundation.

On Tuesday, Capitol Police officials said they had received another call about a fox that approached staff near First and C streets. They said that fox “may have a den in the mulch bed area on First and C near the Dirksen building.” Officials said there is another possible fox den near the “perimeter of the Russell building.”

Foxes are considered wild animals and officials warned that no one should approach them. They’re known to be “protective of their dens and territory.”

Tim Barber, a spokesman for the U.S. Capitol Police, said Tuesday that it was “not clear if there was one fox or multiple.” He said the first sighting was around 3 p.m. Monday, and then someone “encountered” one about two hours later.

He said some people have been bitten and “others nipped at,” and that it is hard to figure out how many incidents there have been because people are reporting them to various places, including U.S. Capitol Police, area hospitals and clinics.

Barber said officials are “not sure how long” the fox or foxes have been around the Capitol grounds or where they came from.

“If you see a fox, don’t engage with these things,” Barber said. “Call animal control and step away calmly.”

If you see a fox in that area, please call U.S. Capitol Police at 202-224-0908.

Southwest Airlines passenger is arrested for 'masturbating FOUR times and exposing himself to horrified witness' on flight from Seattle to Phoenix

A Southwest Airlines passenger has been accused of pleasuring himself four times and exposing his privates to a woman on a two-and-a-half-hour flight from Seattle to Phoenix.

Antonio Sherrodd McGarity was arrested on Saturday, after Southwest Airlines Flight 3814 landed at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.

McGarity was taken into federal custody on suspicion of lewd, indecent or obscene acts on an aircraft - a charge that carries a sentence of up to 90 days in prison.

During an interview with the FBI, McGarity allegedly admitted to masturbating on the plane, and he dismissed the entire episode involving the female passenger who witnessed his sexually explicit display as being 'kind of kinky.'

'McGarity admitted to law enforcement that he had masturbated during his flight from Seattle, Washington, to Phoenix, Arizona, and that he had an orgasm,' according to the criminal complaint.

The incident unfolded aboard Flight 3814, which took off from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport at 6.12am on Saturday en route to Phoenix.

A short time after takeoff, McGarity, who was in seat 11F, allegedly 'exposed his penis by pulling down his pants and shorts and began masturbating,' the complaint alleged.

A female passenger who was in seat 11E directly next to McGarity photographed the libidinous traveler 'with his hand on his erect penis,' according to the complaint.

The woman later told police officers in Phoenix that McGarity pleasured himself in front of her on four separate occasions during the flight, which lasted 2 hours, 37 minutes, 'using both his left and right hands,' the complaint stated.

When McGarity later fell asleep, the woman told the flight crew about the incident, and they moved her to another seat.

When the plane landed at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, McGarity was detained by the police and interviewed by FBI agents.

The man allegedly told the agents that he knew the woman sitting next to him was aware he was masturbating and could see his exposed penis, and that she photographed him with her phone.

McGarity told the feds that he asked the female passenger if she minded if he masturbates. According to him, 'the female put her hands in the air and said, "it really doesn't matter."'

McGarity said he thought it was kind of kinky,' according to the court document.

McGarity added that he did not think the woman was 'uncomfortable' with him pleasuring himself in front of her.

Southwest Airlines has now placed McGarity on its no-fly list, meaning that he has been banned from traveling with the airline for life.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10688309/GOP-bill-eliminate-age-requirements-marriages-Tennessee-establish-common-law-union.html

Tennessee Republican pushes bill to allow CHILD MARRIAGE that would scrap the state's current minimum age of 17 before couple's could tie the knot

Bill sponsor Tom Leatherwood, 65, has introduced a bill into the Tennessee House that would eliminate age limits for common-law marriages

Leatherwood said the bill proposed an 'alternative form of marriage' to those who 'conscientiously object to the current pathway to marriage'

Opponents to the bill worry the lack of age limits could cover up child sex abuse

Nashville Representative Mike Stewart, 57, called the bill 'ridiculous'

He said the bill was a 'get-out-of-jail-free card for people who are basically committing statutory rape'

The state law currently allowed children 17 and older to get married. Minors are required to have parental consent

In 44 states, children in the US can get married under the age of 18.

Although each state sets its own age limit, some states allow children as young as 12 to be married off to an adult, leaving minors in a vulnerable position where they can legally marry before being old enough to consent to sex. The age of consent varies by state, but is between the ages of 16 and 18.

Fourteen states' child marriage laws violate statutory rape laws, according to the Journal of Adolescent Health.

Meanwhile, 11 states, including Oregon, North and South Dakota, and Alabama, do not provide marital exemptions. Ten states, however, only provide one in 'some crimes.'

However, the vast majority of the US does provide an exemption to 'all crimes,' according to McGill. These states include: Texas, Ohio, Washington, New York, Hawaii, and more.

Researchers found that a proportion of underage marriages that meet the definition of a sex crime vary from 1 percent to more than 50 percent, with exemptions. Without exemptions, it can be as high as 80 percent, McGill reported.

'Our study exposes the inconsistency between laws that permit children to marry and laws that criminalize sex with children across the US. The research shows that some child marriages are indistinguishable from sex crimes,' a McGill Professor said.

Massachusetts has the youngest age limit, with girls 12 and up and boys 14 and up able to marry with parental consent, according to World Population.

Other states - such as Arkansas and New Hampshire - also have differing ages for males and females. Arkansas limits underage women to 16 and older, while males have to be 17. Meanwhile, New Hampshire is 13 for girls and 14 for boys.

California does not have an age limit, as long as parental consent is obtained, according to World Population.

Only six states have banned underage marriage. The states are: Delaware, New Jersey, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and New York.
