Former President Barack Obama tweeted support for President Biden Tuesday evening shortly after an embarrassing video emerged from a health care event the two hosted earlier in the day.

Obama visited the White House, for the first time since leaving office in 2017, where he and Biden hosted a health care event in which they touted the Affordable Care Act and discussed options for making health care more affordable.

The former presidential duo was united again under the White House roof, but pictures and videos of the event showed people adoring the former president, even to the detriment of the man currently serving in the White House.

A particular video from the evening, which is being widely shared online, shows a somewhat embarrassed Biden seemingly wandering around the room alone while Obama is crowded with people eager to speak with him.

"Literally no one wants to talk to Joe Biden," the Republican National Committee said on Twitter, sharing a 13-second clip from the event.

"This is so sad," the RNC added, with another 25-second video similarly showing people walking up to speak with Obama and shake his hands while skipping Biden.

During the event, immediately before the RNC video, Biden is in the group with Obama, Vice President Kamala Harris, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and others before he leaves and appears to be searching for someone in the room.

.

After a brief moment, Biden then stops, turns back to gauge how busy Obama is, and then turns and gestures to Interior Secretary Deb Haaland to join him on the stage. She does, and the two then walk back to Obama, who appears to say he will walk over to them later. Biden and Haaland return to her seats and greet other guests.

Shortly after the video began making its rounds online, the former president praised Biden in a tweet.

"Always great catching up with @POTUS. Thanks for all you’re doing to help even more Americans get access to quality, affordable health care," Obama tweeted.

The event was undoubtedly scheduled with the former president to be a much-needed win for Biden, who faces scrutiny for record-high inflation, soaring gas prices, and blame for not doing more to end the war in Ukraine that has lasted over 40 days.

Jen Psaki questions Sen. Lindsey Graham's opposition to Ketanji Brown Jackson after he supported her last year: 'She has the exact same credentials'

oseddiq@insider.com (Oma Seddiq) - Yesterday 5:49 PM

Jen Psaki questioned Sen. Lindsey Graham's opposition to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Graham previously voted to confirm Jackson to a seat on the second-most powerful court in the country.

"The Supreme Court is different from the circuit court," Graham said Monday.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Tuesday weighed in on Sen. Lindsey Graham's opposition to Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson after he supported her previous judicial nomination last year.

"What exactly has changed since he voted to support her just recently — relatively recently?" Psaki said of Graham when asked during her press briefing about his opposition. "She has the exact same credentials, exact same qualifications."

"I wouldn't say the president is spending a lot of time thinking about it, but I would say it's a good question to pose to Senator Graham," Psaki added when asked if President Joe Biden was "disappointed" with Graham's decision.

Graham revealed last week that he intends to vote against Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court.

"Her record is overwhelming in its lack of a steady judicial philosophy and a tendency to achieve outcomes in spite of what the law requires or common sense would dictate," the South Carolina Republican said on the Senate floor.

The announcement came after Graham, along with several other Republicans, grilled Jackson on her sentencing record and her judicial philosophy during her confirmation hearings last month. Before the hearings, Graham had also publicly pushed for South Carolina federal district judge J. Michelle Childs to get the Supreme Court nomination, and criticized Biden's choice in Jackson.

Graham's opposition contrasts with his support for Jackson a year ago. He was one of three Republicans who voted to confirm Jackson to her current seat on the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, widely viewed as the second most powerful court in the country. The other two GOP senators were Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, both of whom have said they plan to confirm Jackson to the Supreme Court.

A spokesperson for Graham told Insider on Tuesday that consideration for the Supreme Court is different from the lower federal court.

"Sen. Graham has been clear," the spokesperson said. "New job. New standard."

Graham expressed that position on Monday as the Senate Judiciary Committee met to consider Jackson's nomination. The committee voted 11-11 on Jackson, with all Democrats in support and all Republicans against. Graham later voted against advancing Jackson's nomination out of the committee on Monday night.

This is a sorry excuse. Did he not care or did he not know about her record back then? Let us know Graham.

Interesting…didn't know Citi managed all credit cards for House offices. Would have been nice if a letter would have been sent when they required vaccine to keep employment a few months back.

It's a terrible benefit, but how many actual people that work at Citi in Texas would actually use this (maybe the # is higher than I would think) vs. the thousands of people that work for Citi that were forced to the unconstitutional mandate of vaccine, and no letter sent. They wanted us vaccinated for a reason.

With Elon Musk as its newest board member, Twitter said Tuesday it still does not have plans to reinstate Donald Trump's account, while the former president’s own Truth Social platform reported significant growth in user engagement.

"We see people who have been banned from Twitter for life" and Truth Social is "going to be the home for all of those people" Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes told "Just the News - Not Noise" on Tuesday.

Twitter told DailyMail.com that the company is " committed to impartiality in the development and enforcement of its policies and rules."

The social media giant plans on sticking by its ban of Trump, who was permanently suspended from Twitter after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

"Our policy decisions are not determined by the Board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions," Twitter told DailyMail.com.

"As always our Board plays an important advisory and feedback role across the entirety of our service. Our day to day operations and decisions are made by Twitter management and employees," the company stated.

Nunes, a former California representative, says he is not optimistic about Twitter's future, even with billionaire CEO Musk on the board.

"I don't foresee much changing at Twitter," Nunes told editor-in-chief John Solomon and co-host Amanda Head.

He said Truth Social is "already getting massive engagement by the users" on the platform so far.

Nunes encouraged listeners to download the app and said "progress" has been made to bring it to the Google Play store soon.
