>orthodox split off early

Not before Saul of Tarsus' deceptions were incorporated into the canonical texts. Saul/Paul never walked with Jesus, although he claims to have had a vision, that's in no way equivalent to having walked beside Jesus for years.

Jesus warned his disciples they would be deceived; that the whole world would be deceived. And Jesus was correct (of course); Saul of Tarsus managed to deceive even Jesus' anointed ones.

If you mean the Son of God, I presume you're referring to Jesus. However, Saul/Paul never even met Jesus in the flesh; his "Christ" is the Gnostic never-was-flesh spiritual abstraction.

I've read the Bible; several different translations. You can, too: <https://www.biblegateway.com/>

Take a gander at the triple sauce I posted, and ask yourself, why Paul never quotes Jesus yet uses "Christ" as his source of authority.

BTW, "as 'here' was birthed from 'there'" echoes of Gnosticism.

Matthew 24,

4 Jesus told them, โ€œDonโ€™t let anyone fool you. 5 For many will come claiming to be the Messiah and will lead many astray.

10 and many of you shall fall back into sin and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and lead many astray.

If you can read English grammar, you already know that Jesus is my savior. Your assertion "You claim Gnosticism" rings false, because at no time have I claimed to be the author of, originator of, or adherent to, Gnosticism.

It won't hurt you to read other books beyond the Bible. Maybe start with remedial grammar.

There was no "J" in the English language until the 1500s, perhaps later (check in w Chaucer). Scholars think His name was most likely a distinguished Hebrew name, as He was born to a distinguished Hebrew family. He also may have spoken Aramaic, Latin and/or Greek. One line or research suggests His name was Iesus (capital I), but in Greek, that would mean "son of Zeus," and I doubt any respected Hebrew family would give their son that name. Another line of research suggests His name may have been Ioshua Ben Ioseph (Joshua, son of Joseph), for who actual historical records do exist.
