After reading the article referenced, something comes to mind.
If Garland decides to “prosecute/charge” Trump, it creates the appearance of Presidential interference in the DOJ.
If Biden “sacks” Garland it creates the appearance of Biden’s interference in Hunter’s case, which also implicated Biden himself, in effect shutting down an investigation of himself!
He cannot win this one!
