Scientists reckon it could be the first physical evidence from the day which marked the end of the dinosaurs’ reign on Earth 66 million years ago.

 

The experts dug up the remains of the herbivore thescelosaurus at the Tanis site in North Dakota, US.

 

Broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough who has been filming the dig for the BBC, said: “It was a moment of justification for the whole thing, really.

 

“This is evidence of the event that caused 75 per cent of species on Earth to disappear.

TWO men posing as federal agents showered US Secret Service agents with gifts including a rent-free penthouse worth over $40,000 a year, prosecutors say.

Four Secret Service agents have been put on leave as the investigation continues, including one member of first lady Jill Biden's security detail.

A US PLAN for the largest space ship ever built that would be able to transport humans to Jupiter and back have been revealed in Pentagon files obtained by The Sun.

 

The documents involving deep space exploration and colonisation were released by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) - the Department of Defense's spy arm - after a four-year-long Freedom of Information battle.

They form part of 1,574 pages of real-life X-Files related to the Pentagon's secretive UFO programme, obtained by The Sun under the Freedom of Information Act.

 

One of the files includes plans and pictures a spacecraft dubbed, Fusion Ship II.

 

It shows schematics for a massively long and thin craft constructed around a small capsule and a series of reactor arrays.

 

The deep space craft which is propelled by IEC fusion, an experimental technology which uses electric fields to propel a ship forward.
