Kaliko Beach Resort, site of child trafficking, rewarded

Kaliko Beach Resort, site of child trafficking where all the trafficker caught were released is to be transformed into a Hilton Hotel!

Èzili Dantò Note: Operation Underground Railroad was first to announce in early February 2017 that 31 girls were rescued at Kaliko Beach Resort from a child sex trafficking ring. All the traffickers were released without prosecution a scant month later (by March 16, 2017). The foreigners were immediately released and the remaining 9 were held briefly. But, five months later, on July 23, 2017 while Haitian human rights organizations were condemning the release of all the traffickers caught in the Haitian National Police sting operation at Kaliko Beach, to raise funds and push its crisis caravan brand, Operation Underground Railroad rehashed the February 5, 2017 claim that they had rescued the victims, 20 of whom were minors. Operation Underground Railroad failed to mention in the July 23rd broadcast and news reports that some of the children victims were held in detention for longer than any of the traffickers, all (9 or 12) of whom were released without prosecution. They deceptively made it seems as if this was a new bust, not the one from February 5th where there was no justice for the girls and their families.

The owners of Kaliko Beach are well connected with the status quo. Fritz Paret and his family got an oil exploration license from the Clinton protege president, Michel Martelly. And now comes news that Kaliko Beach Resort will be transformed into the higher grade, luxury Hilton Hotel. And the beat goes on, on and on….let's put $15 million in renovations at Kaliko Beach, let's build more luxury shelters for corrupt tourists in Haiti, invite more sex tourism on a helpless and oppressed population.

Instead of investing in Haiti's local autonomy and konbit/lakou economic culture, "development" for Haiti and the Caribbean, the Pèpè educated and former enslavers' ghouls say, is bringing in more sweatshops, tourism and to meet the sexual perversion needs and vacation comforts of Northerners.

Evil reigns. Justice is in a deep sleep. See reference link proofs below and the last link here, which is a historical analysis, done ten years ago - Haiti: Foreign Investment means Death and Repression: A Historical Perspective by Èzili Dantò of HLLN/FreeHaiti :
