Not having a degree has cost me way to many jobs I am over qualified for.

That stupid piece of paper is important. I'm to old to care now but had I been one to realize when I had the chance I would have stuck out their indoctrination crap and got at least a BA in something. Fucking master of underwater BB stacking written on some expensive parchment with an official header from a community college would have gotten me over 100 grand a year at one point but NO… I are to smrt for that college crap. I don't need no professers telling me shit.

Hindsight being 20/20 I would go after a degree. Mainly as now I do a lot of hiring and the way I see it, there is a certain appeal to people who can show follow through. A diploma is good but a degree is better. Even if it's just Liberal Arts.

One of the first things I look at for a new applicant, even before job history.

Yeah. I don't grammar check shitposts and what I do is done by kids who got kicked out of English class so they could go to metal shop.

Which leads me back to my main point.

Get the fucking degree or you'll wind up like me. Broken, underpaid and stuck.
