Former Illinoisfag here. The whole Blagojevich Trump pardon/commutation situation reminded me of a video I saw shortly after his arrest in which he said the state of Illinois would no longer do business with the Bank of America due to the bailouts. He was arrested the day after the statement: https:// youtu.be/Da6xYJfSi94
Also, he had a radio program on WLS in Chicago between his arrest and conviction. I called in on a few occasions and he would let me go on and on about liberty and the constitution. Most hosts would call me a crack pot and get me off the line ASAP. He always struck me as less of a sheister than the rest of the incredibly corrupt Illinois politicians and it was strange that only he was arrested, when they're are so many other corrupt politicians in that state.
Not sure if this is noteable, but I figured it may be worth mentioning.
