Sniper Employment
The military sniper dates back to the time of the Revolutionary War, and has been employed in every war and country since then. Program presents an overview of military snipers in past conflicts. Describes the functions, training and employment of sniper teams within units. Points out that the role of the modern sniper team is to enhance and augment means of eliminating the enemy. Also discusses the sniper sustainment training program.
The Jarabe Tapatío is a Mexican folk dance, often called the national dance of Mexico, and better known internationally as the Mexican hat dance. Despite its rather innocent steps by today’s standards (dancers do not touch one another), early 19th century colonial authorities found the moves too sexually suggestive and even challenging to Spanish rule.
They banned the dance, inspiring popular appreciation for the Jarabe Tapatío in Mexico, as the ban added an element of rebellious expression to it and provided an opportunity for dancers eager to make a statement on social freedom and political independence a chance to subtly defy the colonizers.

Shows Alabama's State Capitol in Montgomery, the brass star in the floor of its Senate chamber where Jefferson Davis took his oath of office, the Confederate "White House," Dexter Ave., the public square, Exchange Hotel, and Union Stockyards. CCC men dig wells in Marengo County State Park. The ROTC drills at Alabama Polytechnic Institute in Auburn. Art students draw, and tourists swim, picnic, sunbathe, cycle, and ride horses in Shiawassee State Park; CCC men pour concrete and construct a dam.

Fighting Men: Kill or Be Killed
This military training film shows that there are no rules of sportsmanship or fair play on the battlefield. As expressed in the film: "Anything goes when the stakes are kill or be killed." Soldiers were encouraged to use any weapon that comes to hand which could be anything from a rifle, to a bayonet or hand grenade.
