Anybody monitoring the Masters? It's brand new. Dogleg 540 yr. par 4's? One hole lengthened by putting the tee box behind the green of the preceding hole? Why is the Masters committing suicide?
Yeah. They did major work at the course. They lengthed the course for some reason. The course doesn't have a single par 4 under 420 and has 3 or 5 over 500. Picture this. You play a hole to the green, then you go to the next tee box The next hole is perpendicular to the right. However, on that hole this year, the next hole tee box is to the left of the green you just got off of, withing 15 yards. Saw a group teeing off and an errant approach to the hole they just played landed in their tee box.
