I'm already eating the Asparagus out of my garden. Potatoes are getting huge, just mounded them. Planted 6 more mounds yesterday. Garlic and onions are getting along great, I expect 2 harvests this year. My three fruit trees are blossoming and barring a freeze are looking good. Chicken coop is now almost finished and I have 4 chicks in a box under light right now.

Wife said no to a goat… dammit.

Speaking of which I had better get outside and get to work. Hiding this goat is now a high priority. Damn thing already ate everything it can get to.

Huge 300+ herd of wild horses just over the rise about 1/2 a mile away. Should it come down to it they will be on the menu. Other than that the quail and dove taken with the pellet gun are a decent source of meat.

I was a CNA for a while and can attest to this. No studies I am aware of but I did a year on grave yard shifts and saw it plenty. Some people can just close their eyes and go and some freak the fuck out. Never paid attention to their religion really but I have suspicions.

I just opened my "million veteran program baseline survey" from the VA. Talk about a waste of my time.

First thing is to schedule a day so they can get a blood sample… they already have one. 4 in fact. OR they could just look me up in the DNA database they put me into without telling me.

Then today's date, then my birth date, then "Are you Spanish, Hispanic or Latino?" blah blah blah.

Fuck the VA and their survey.
