The same reason a surfer can stand on a moving wave. Momentum.

The same reason flight attendants can walk down an aisle of a flying airplane. momentum.

It's not centrifugal force that that keeps us far away from the sun. It's falling into the sun from far away at a very low energy. That's different. If we were chained to the sun, and the sun was spinning us around to keep us distant, that would be centrifugal force.

we don't feel anything in terms of movement because the things we would feel moving are moving with us (the atmosphere and our nearest gravitational mass(the earth)) as opposed to moving through the atmosphere where we would feel wind resistance and also changing velocities.

We don't feel cosmic velocity because we have nothing else to give it context. Our context has been moving at seemingly terminal velocity since we've been born and will continue to do so after we are gone.

Basically we were born on the flying airplane and we will die on the flying airplane. That's why we don't feel how fast we are going because we have no context. The earth is our context; The mid-flight airplane is our context. We'll die before it lands or even noticeably descends
