Andy Biggs: Biden Could Bring 30K Illegal Aliens to U.S. Border Every Day with End of Title 42
Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) says President Joe Biden could potentially entice 20,000 to 30,000 border crossers and illegal aliens to the United States-Mexico border every day if he follows through on plans to end the Title 42 public health authority.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced that Biden will end Title 42 on May 23. The authority, which serves as a border control measure, has allowed federal immigration officials to quickly return nearly two million illegal aliens to their native countries over the last two years.
Biden officials have admitted that they expect up to half a million border crossers and illegal aliens to arrive at the southern border every month — the equivalence of Mesa, Arizona’s resident population.
In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Saturday, Biggs said he predicts illegal immigration to be even worse than what Biden officials are admitting.
“Right now, the [Department of Homeland Security] number is about 8,000 people a day, illegally entering our country,” Biggs said. “DHS’s number, they say it’s going to be 18,000 a day … I personally think it’s going to be 20,000 to 30,000 a day.”
“Cartels are already advertising to put together caravans to come across … our communities are going to be overrun … last year, 800,000 people illegally snuck into the country, they were not apprehended, they were the got-aways, we don’t know who they are, where they are from, what their intentions are,” Biggs continued.
“It’s going to be dramatic,” he said.
As for Biden’s reasoning, Biggs said he believes ending Title 42 is a “political ploy” for Democrats to pack the U.S. with as many border crossers and illegal aliens as possible ahead of the midterm elections in November where Republicans are expected to win majorities in the House and Senate.
“I think the rationale here is, they’re trying to get this open and bring in as many people as they can before they lose the majority … [in] the House and Senate,” Biggs said. “I think this is a political ploy, it’s meant to happen. They campaigned on an open border.”
“If you think it’s bad now, the tsunami that’s coming is going to be overwhelming,” he said.

US Will 'Not Hesitate' to Expel Even More Russian Diplomats Deemed 'Spies' - Sullivan
In recent weeks, a number of European states expelled a large number of diplomatic employees of Russian diplomatic missions over the provocation in the Ukrainian city of Bucha. And on Thursday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned that the US may follow the lead in removing Russian diplomats.
White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan stated on Sunday that the US will "not hesitate" to expel more Russian diplomats from the country for alleged espionage operations.
In an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press," Sullivan said Washington is "always on the lookout for anyone connected to espionage or spy services" and "will not hesitate to take further action to declare persona non grata to expel, to kick out further Russian quote unquote ‘diplomats’ if we determine they’re spies."
"We have, in fact, expelled 12 Russian diplomats, and many of these countries that announced actions this week were catching up to the previous American announcement of expulsions," he added.
The adviser and the host were discussing the measures undertaken by almost two dozen European countries who have moved to expel dozens of Russian diplomats, along with the fate of the roughly 400 Russian officials still in the US.
According to the US Mission to the United Nations, in February, the US moved to expel those "operatives" for allegedly "engaging in espionage activities" that pose a national security threat, noting that such expulsions had been planned for several months and were not necessarily in response to the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
"If you look at the way that we do this, every year we take an assessment of who we believe is operating undercover of one of the Russian spy services," he explained. "If we make a determination that someone’s here not as a diplomat but as a spy, we kick them out and we’ll continue to do that."

Kiev is Preparing Mass Murder of Civilians in Lugansk With West's Support, Russian MoD Says
Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine in February, after the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics asked for assistance to defend themselves from attacks by Ukrainian troops.
Col.Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, head of Russia's National Defence Management Centre, has issued a warning that Ukrainian government, with the help of several Western countries, is preparing to mass murder civilians in order to blame these atrocities on the Russian military and the forces of the Lugansk People's Republic.
In particular, Mizintsev said, foreign media reporters have already arrived at a local hospital in the city of Kremennaya in Severodonetsk District, in order to film a provocation prepared by Ukrainian troops that would involve ambulances coming under fire from forces presented as Russian troops.
He also said that in Belogorovka in the Popasnaynskiy District, "neo-Nazis have booby-trapped chlorine tanks at a local water treatment plant with the intent to blow them up when LPR People's Militia forces approach the town".
And in the village of Ragovka in Kiev Oblast, a provocation that would involve a staged search for a mass grave containing civilians whose killing would be blamed on Russian forces, is going to be performed and filmed.
"In order to lend credence to that provocation, a group of Ukrainian forensic experts and national police officers are going to be involved in the filming process," Mizintsev said.
These actions and provocations perpetrated by Ukrainian authorities, he said, who "once again demonstrate their inhumane attitude towards the fate of the Ukrainian people, and signify an utter disregard for all norms of morality and of the international humanitarian law."
