Anon lived there for almost 2 years. They may or may not support Xi but they are pretty brainwashed on the Chinese system. Think and act as a group, highly nationalistic. They don't even know their own history, for example Tienanmen Square.

Every chinese person I knew there ended up backstabbing me somehow. Friends, employees, fiancee. Only the Christian lady who cut my hair was legit, she was underground church.

It's a strange place. I'm mixed on my feelings about China. On the plus side, they are one of the few cultures on earth that seem to be advancing. In the West we have less of everything compared to our parents; from spending power, to longevity, to freedoms, to mental health. At the hands of the bankers, our society is dying. China is one of the few places making long term investments, increasing energy output, engaging in large earth-changing projects, etc. Even if I don't like what they represent, they are unfortunately the future unless we get our shit together.
