The nest is in Big Bear Lake, CA and those running the se are complete Marxist wackos. i.e. They insisted the hatched eagle chick be addressed with neutral pronouns until it's sex can be determined.

Wouldn't work for me. Just go to youtube.com website and search for Big Bear bald eagle live nest. It's a treat for this oldanon to follow. Only saw one bald eagle in the wild. On a pipeline right of way by myself and took a break. There was a pretty wide stream close by. I sat down by the stream and there the eagle came. He did soaring circles over the stream looking for a trout to come up the the surface to eat a fly. At least 20 minutes, no fly flew, the majestic bald eagle and I moved on. Now I know he had a female and a chick to feed.

Maybe a 4 min. walk through the trees. 2nd grade and I was on top of the world. Heard something like a far off voice, didn't pay attention, I was a tiny kid with my own problems, both at home and school. Skipped the rest of the way home, which was on a dirt street, and never looked back.
