Gurdjieff said that the universe grows from "the bottom up" (not his words), as in, Jupiter and its moons are a future Solar System. Jupiter -new sun, moons -> new planets.
Same would go for Earth, it's growing toward being a Star.
'Course, Gurdjieff said a lot of things. :)
