The price of gold right now is manipulated by the paper market, that's why it hasn't changed much despite soaring inflation. We're in a rigged game. That said, just about any commodity is safer than currency right now. Money sitting in the bank just lost 8.4% since last year, and that's the official number so it's probably more like 20%. The other day there was an explosion in a manhole in NYC and people ran for their lives. Here we have multiple people shot and bleeding and people are just milling about, taking photos and have to be encouraged to get on the fucking train
