The real problem is the punishment is not harsh enough for public figures, they just go back and get re-elected, put them to death, prisons dont change the prisoners.

Alternatives to AARP, here you go

These are – as you can probably imagine – conservative alternatives to AARP. Because AARP has become known as the more liberal organization, conservative-leaning individuals search for something else.

The list that follows are lesser-known organizations to AARP, but they are worth a look for anyone looking to put their membership dollars somewhere that better fits their personal political beliefs or values. These organizations are presented in no particular order.

1) American Seniors Association (ASA)

Founded in 2005, the ASA is massive, and offers a wide berth of benefits. Members receive discounts on just about anything you can think of. Cancer plans, health insurance plans, and long-term care plans are just some of the insurance options available to ASA members, and there are also exclusive benefits for travel, golf courses, hotel stays, restaurants, car rental, grocery stores, prescriptions, and the like.

2) Christ Above Politics (CAP)

CAP states that it’s the “Christian, non-political alternative to AARP.” Once more, there are benefits for just about any sector of the economy imaginable, including financial services, travel, real estate, all manner of insurance plans, music, magazines, healthcare, entertainment, food, eldercare, and much, much more.

While CAP does no lobbying, they also state that there are some issues that have become political which Christians should have a stance on. However, they are solely a religious organization – not a political lobbying organization.

CAP also states that all of their discounts are for companies that are friendly to Christians/Christianity and does not support any business that outwardly demonstrates hostility to either.

3) The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC)

A conservative association for elders, AMAC states that its ultimate goal is to protect the American way of life. Freedom, the US Constitution, lower taxes, smaller government, election integrity, the repeal of Obamacare, the repeal of abortion, and the protection of the Second Amendment are all some of the positions that AMAC lobbies for heavily.

AMAC might be AARP’s biggest competitor. In fact, we wrote an entire article to the AARP vs AMAC comparison. It breaks down the differences and what each organization offers in terms of benefits.

There are a host of benefits for AMAC members as well. Benefits include travel and trip cancellation insurance, hotel discounts, PenFed credit cards, life insurance products, phone discounts, bullion discounts, a host of insurance options, prescription discount card, home security discounts, roadside assistance, theme park discounts, and more.

4) The Seniors Coalition (TSC)

Started in 1989, the TSC states that they lobby for any issue whatsoever that involves American seniors. They were initially founded to combat the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act which forced many seniors to pay for coverage they didn’t want. If appearances mean anything, they don’t look to be as well-funded as several other groups out there, as their website looks as if it’s straight out of 2000.

However, if you can tolerate poor website design, as a member you’ll get: 10% off Wyndham hotels, exclusive savings through Liberty Mutual, the ability to save up to 20% on brand name and 70% on generic drug costs via the Prescription Discount Club, the opportunity to be a member of the Congressional Federal Credit Union to get the same great rates on financial products members of Congress get, and a host of other travel, insurance, and health-related discounts.

7) The Alternative Association for Retired People (ALTARP)

An organization with a Christian base that is in favor of freedom and the US Constitution. There are no benefits for members, but their donations will help to spread the message of the ALTARP – that freedom deserves to be protected and is enshrined within the American way of life.

ALTARP also advertises itself as for working people 50+ years old. It’s not necessarily only for retired people, but instead for all of those with a lot of “life experience” who believe that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are benefits that their grandchildren should get to experience as well.

Final Thoughts

If you feel like you’re trapped within AARP there is hope! There are other alternatives out there that are engaged in politics and offer great benefits as well. Check them out and I’m sure that you’ll find an organization that offers exactly what it is that you’re looking for.

Think about the perfect employer, write it down, affirm you will get the job, bring it to fruition. There are companies that don’t require it.

My prayers are with you!

My dogs used to fight even when they had their own bowl. My black lab would take her time, the Golden retriever would gulp it and try to get at her bowl. And they were big dogs so it was a fight to get them apart
