On low-med. heat. And remember, you are frying bacon, not deep frying it. If an electric grill: use some folded paper towels to tilt it to the run-off end. Turn often. When you turn move the bacon slices to a cramped side and push the oil away. Then spread to turned bacon on the grill. Do basically the same thing in a BIG fry pan. Anon lets the bacon fry for awhile and then tilts the pan and uses a tablespoon to spoon the fat out of the fry pan. Spoon it into a small bowl.
The more bacon fries in its own fat the worse it is. It's easy once you get used to it.
