"According to Fox News, the first busload of illegal immigrants who took Texas Governor Abbott up on his offer for free transport to Washington DC pulled into the nation’s Capital Wednesday morning and offloaded several dozen immigrants onto the streets. According to the FMCSA’s SAFER dashboard, the carrier, Cart Enterprises LLC had the authority to transport passengers revoked on April 4th, 2022 for what appears to be an insurance cancelation. According to records, the company was notified by the federal government on March 1st, 2022 that they were pending cancelation.

Citizen Stringer contacted Cart Enterprises LLC via telephone Wednesday morning. A man, confirmed to be named Javon Elder, confirmed he is the owner of Cart Enterprises. Elder confirmed they “transport passengers” but referred any questions regarding what passengers to the “Texas Department of Public Safety.” When asked about transporting illegal migrants while having a revoked authority from the federal government, the man denied knowledge of it and informed Citizen Stringer they would be “looking into it.” According to the SAFER website, Cart Enterprises’ authority to operate was revoked after their Berkshire Hathaway insurance policy was canceled effective March 28th, 2022. Under 49 U.S.C. 521(b)(7) a motor carrier who conducts business while under a suspension or revocation can be subject to fines of up to $25,000 per day in which a violation occurs."
