WEST VIRGINIA: "A company that processes coal has announced its plans to locate in Mason County, potentially bringing about 500 jobs. Frontieras North America announced its plans today. The company says it plans to complete construction by the end of 2023, processing more than 2.7 million tons of coal a year. The company’s coal processing system is called FASForm. Frontieras says that system is cleaner and more efficient than simply burning the coal.

Matthew McKean, chief executive and co-founder of Frontieras said, “Frontieras’ selection of its West Virginia site allows us to receive and ship products across the globe. Our interactions with state officials to the local business community have provided insight into the positive working relationship that we expect as we break ground, bring the FASForm Plant online and employ citizens of West Virginia.”
