The co-founder of Black Lives Matter (BLM) slammed the U.S.’s "triggering" charity transparency laws after the organization's purchase of a $6 million Los Angeles mansion was exposed.
Patrisse Cullors, a BLM founder, said she found it "triggering" — emotionally compromising — when she hears about financial documents being made public.
"It is such a trip now to hear the term '990,'" Cullors said at the Vashon Center for the Arts Friday. "I'm, like, ugh. It's, like, triggering."

Two Florida men admit to voting multiple times in the 2020 election
Two Florida men have admitted to voting more than once in the 2020 election, with both avoiding jail by entering a pre-trial diversion program.
Charles Barnes and Jay Ketcik were among the residents in The Villages, a planned retirement community near Orlando, Fla., who were charged with voter fraud last year.
They each faced up to five years in prison for committing a third-degree felony.
However, both Barnes and Ketcik were able to avoid jail time by signing contracts stipulating that they must pay fines, perform community service and agree to other conditions laid out by their pre-trial intervention program officers.
The contracts state, “For the purpose of this Program, the Defendant admits to his guilt of the crime for which he is charged, said admission can be used against him in the event of further prosecution. The Parties agree that the first step in rehabilitation is to the admission of his wrongdoing.”

US agencies: Industrial control system malware discovered (Hint; It's Russia)
BOSTON – Multiple U.S. government agencies issued a joint alert Wednesday warning of the discovery of malicious cyber tools created by unnamed advanced threat actors that they said were capable of gaining “full system access” to multiple industrial control systems.
The public alert from the Energy and Homeland Security Departments, the FBI and National Security Agency did not name the actors or offer details on the find. But their private sector cybersecurity partners said the evidence suggests Russia is behind the tools, which were configured to initially target North American energy concerns.
