Sad, had a conversation with my wife about patients in the VA and regular hospitals. I told her the saddest part when I played health care proxy was seeing patients who had relatives who visited for brief moments, some an hour or so, but the majority of others had no daily visitors. I told her you really need to watch these doctors and nurses 24/7.
She said that is why I was always in trouble, you have to let them do their thing, keep your eyes, ears, and mouth shut, and pray to God or else you'll have problems with the cops and then they put you on a list an you won't be able to find work. I told her, what is more sad, is the people with that attitude will eventually become patients too.
What a sad state of affairs in this country. She wasn't born in the US but know how it works. PDJT, when your back in office, make all patient advocates national guard recruits assigned to look for treason against the welfare of the American people.
