Wondering is any new owner of twitter would have access to all historical DM archives?

That seems like it could be a lot of sensitive data…

If Twitter is a full on US intelligence owned operation, is the whole "public traded company" complete BS, fabricated cover story to sell the idea of impartiality?

Musk offering to buy it would risk the fraud being exposed. Plus the mountains of hidden criminal communications that could be exposed. They would never allow that kind of sensitive data to be in private hands.

> an accidental total destruction of all logs, memos, emails, databases…..

I'm starting to see this as the most likely solution. Go scorched earth on the whole platform. Burn it to the ground to hide the truth.

Sell it to someone else? Who can be trusted with that? Either that or the US govt nationalizes it. But what can of worms does that open? FOIA requests?

Just saying, Musk might have lit the fuse for a massive twitter implosion that makes MySpace look viable again. After this… Will people will start to wonder about facebook, instagram, google, etc? (all US govt)
