More and more inclined to think all of the "switch from Google to Brave" and "Google to Duck Duck Go" and "YouTube to ______" is a bunch of pointlessness. Yeah, I hate what Google stands for, but their competition usually doesn't hold a candle to their product and the whole system is under the same beast. If they're all quasi-gov't entities, are we really sticking it to anyone when we pick Duck Duck Go? And I know, BitChute and Rumble allow stuff that YouTube takes down, but are they really bastions of free speech or just the more back-alley platforms where the system allows the more dangerous red pills to hang out their signs where fewer normies are gonna see them?
