WEF Advisor Yuval Harari Ponders How World Will Deal With ‘Useless People’
Harari believes artificial intelligence will create "billions of useless people" who can be kept docile with drugs and video games
Yuval Harari, an Israeli philosopher who serves as an advisor to the World Economic Forum (WEF), has frequently warned of a growing class of “useless people.” According to the WEF advisor, the rise of artificial intelligence will give rise to billions of “useless people” who humanity will have to “deal with.” In order to address the growing number of so-called “useless people”, Harari suggests keeping them docile with drugs and video games.
“The biggest question maybe in economics and politics in the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people,” Harari said during a lecture. This particular lecture can be viewed on Rumble, though he has discussed this topic on multiple occasions. “The problem is more boredom, what to do with them and how will they find some sense of meaning in life when they are basically meaningless, worthless,” Harari continued. “My best guess at present is a combination of drugs and computer games.”
Harari then said that this was already happening under “different titles.”
“You see more and more people sending more and more time, or solving their time with drugs and computer games, both legal drugs and illegal drugs,” the Israeli philosopher said.
Harari went on to say that humanity is in the midst of a “second industrial revolution” centered around artificial intelligence. “But the product this time will not be textiles, or machines, or vehicles, or even weapons, the product this time will be humans themselves,” Harari asserted. “We are basically learning to produce bodies and minds. Bodies and minds are going to be I think the two main products of the next wave of all these changes.”
The “useless people” referenced by the WEF advisor would be those who refuse to be injected with artificial intelligence capabilities in the coming decades. Describing humans as “hackable animals”, Harari believes that “the masses” would “not stand much of a chance” against these changes even if they were to organize.
The Israeli intellectual, who works as a professor at the University of Jerusalem, has given numerous lectures on the topic of “useless people” created as a result of artificial intelligence. He has written several books on AI and believes the changes are “inevitable.”
Harari has served as an annual speaker at the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos. His lengthy WEF biography describes him as a historian, philosopher and the author of the bestsellers “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind”, “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow”, and “21 Lessons for the 21st Century”.

Azov Militants Confirm There Are Hundreds Of Civilians In Azovstal
The final stage of the mop up operations in Mariupol began. The seaport and the Illich plant are under the Russian control. The last stronghold of the Ukrainian nationalist militants in the city is the large Azovstal plant.
The AFU fortifications at the Azovstal plant are constantly shelled by Russian forces. On April 17, the members of the nationalist Azov regiment blockaded in the Azovstal were once again offered to surrender. Russian occupational forces, and their proxy from “lnr/dnr” know that, they know about civilians, and they keep their fire on the factory willingly. They use free fall bombs, rockets, bunker-buster bombs, all varieties of artillery, both ground and naval for indiscriminate attacks.
City theater, maternity hospital, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, houses were destroyed by those who now offers civilians evacuation and safety. These are the same people. And nobody believes these bastards. Therefore I urge the politicians of all civilized world to organize a proper “green corridor”, ensure it’s safety and provide immediate evacuation and protection of civilians, wounded soldiers, and bodies of dead soldiers, to bury them with honors.

Banning lawmakers from trading stocks should be a key priority for lawmakers, writes Elizabeth Warren in an opinion column in The New York Times.
“Whether you’re a Republican senator or the Democratic speaker of the House, it is obvious to the American people that they should not be allowed to trade individual stocks and then vote on laws that affect those companies. I have the strongest plan and the only bipartisan bill in the Senate to get it done,” she writes.
“For years, Americans have identified corrupt government officials as a top concern. And they’re right: to tackle the urgent challenges we face — climate change, income inequality, systemic injustice — we must root out corruption.”
Warren is right in that corrupt politicians in DC should not be able to trade in the markets with insider information and the ability to change the markets that they have.
Warren also says that to fight inflation companies must stop jacking up prices and stop making profits.
Warren is not really the best person to be promoting honesty in Congress. She spent years claiming she was an American Indian which likely helped her obtain a lucrative position at Harvard. Later it was discovered that she was no Indian at all.

Trump tells Russia, Ukraine come to an agreement or else 'everyone will be DEAD'

Former President Donald Trump on Monday urged Russia and Ukraine to negotiate an agreement in their war before it is too late.
He warned that if the countries fail to soon reach a peace agreement, "there will be nothing left but death, destruction, and carnage."
Trump's comments come the same day Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia has increased its bombardment of eastern Ukraine's Donbas region.
"It doesn’t make sense that Russia and Ukraine aren’t sitting down and working out some kind of an agreement," Trump wrote in a press release tweeted by his spokesperson Liz Harrington.
Despite some negotiations, Ukraine and Russia have yet to come to a ceasefire agreement nearly two months after Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered his forces to invade Ukraine.
"This is a war that never should have happened, but it did," Trump said.
"The solution can never be as good as it would have been before the shooting started, but there is a solution, and it should be figured out now – not later –when everyone will be DEAD!" he concluded.
Earlier this month, Russia was accused of committing war crimes in Ukraine, as Ukrainians fleeing their country threatens to create a huge humanitarian crisis.
