Have long been there. See people who need their cars to tell them at which corners to turn and which ways, on streets/roads they should know backwards;

Their phones starting their cars for them, and telling them how full their gas tanks are;

Can't spell and don't even notice when autocorrect consistently puts apostrophes on all plurals, then omits them where they actually belong (contractions, possessives). Now it's so "normal" to see it that "families" now means belonging to one family, and "family's" means more than one family;

Need electronics to do the simplest things.

Saw a guy order two $3.00 sodas at a ballgame about 15-16 years ago. Cashier rang up 3 (hit button on register one too many times), put his 2 sodas on counter, and told him $9.00. Guy says "They cost $3 each" and tried to hand her the $6. She was completely stumped, didn't believe him and had to ring it up again to make sure the register said $6.00 for 2 sodas. Adult woman, not some young teen.

It's only gotten worse. The cellphone zombies weren't as bad as they are now (all they did was talk all the time), and fakebook wasn't a big thing yet.
