Media's having problems coming up with a new narrative for the Ukraine story. It's the proud heroes defending Mariupol in the Azovstal steel plant that have maybe only hours left before they are overrun. The commander of the Ukrainian forces there (the highest ranked nazi) pleaded to the world to do something. Zelensky did the same. cnn had a DJ from Mariupol on Out Front who is reporting from outside Ukraine.
What's up with the greatest spokesperson in military history John Kirby (the only officer to ever attain flag rank by spending his career as a spokesperson to higher ranked officers)? He just doesn't seem himself lately. It's like he's making things up on his own, you know, he's winging it. That's something he's never done in his life. But, since he's become a media star (we talking $millions here) maybe he thinks all those higher ranked officers didn't know that much, it was John Kirby who was the smart one all along. He knew more than all those he spoke for. I know it's a reach, but what else makes sense?
