short version:

Gowdy is tied to his very narrow beliefs.

deep state.

father was a pediatrician who increased vaccinations from 40-90% in SC.

Wife is a former pageant queen. Father in law (Dillard), brother in law and father were big in First Baptist Church in Spartanburg. Generational is my guess.

Yes. Very disconcerting. Which is why I looked into his background.

Was the key speaker at a Rockefeller conference in 2017. First speaker at that conference was Antonin Scalia.

Congressman Gowdy headlines next Rockefeller Lecture Series in Fort Smith

Posted Feb 19, 2017

U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-South Carolina, is set to headline the next Winthrop Paul Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series in association with the U.S. Marshals Museum.

The three-part Rockefeller series, made possible by a grant from Lisenne Rockefeller in 2014, welcomes leaders from the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the federal government to Fort Smith to speak about the U.S. Marshals Service’s history with each branch.

The inaugural lecture in 2015 featured the late Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Antonin Scalia.

“We were overwhelmed by the positive feedback we received from the inaugural Winthrop Paul Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series,” Rockefeller said. “We are looking forward to continuing this national lecture series in my late husband’s honor with Congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina.”
