Well, I see it's a, "muh joo," day today, so let's try some reality.

First, there are good Hebrews and bad Hebrews. There are good Jews, and bad Jews. Same as any other group of people you care to name. So what's the difference between a Hebrew and a Jew? One is an ethnic group of people descended from Abraham, the other is a group of people professing a particular religion, namely Judaism. They aren't necessarily the game thing. Read the bible, the Hebrews were always getting spanked for disobeying God, that hasn't changed, but then again, pretty much everyone disobeys God, so they aren't really any worse than any other group of people. In God's eyes though, they are probably the greater offenders because He did so much for them back in the day and the majority STILL didn't listen, in fact they killed His son, but that was sort of the plan. God is just and cannot be anything else, so how can/could He save EVERYONE on this planet and remain just, especially when His own people are some of the biggest offenders? He sends His son, and anyone who believes in His son, and acts accordingly, becomes justified through their faith, NOT their works. Motives in other words. I suspect that in the end not many actual ethnic Jews are gonna survive, ergo the, "refining fine gold," thing in the bible, the dross will be refined out. Now take a look at the 12 tribes, only one was the priestly caste, I suspect that in the end, the remaining Hebrews who remained loyal to God, will be the priests for the whole world regardless of which tribe they are from. So while, yes, many of them are aholes, not all are. The spiritual descendants of Abraham will remain, the spiritual descendants of Babylon will be removed. God is pretty specific about what He wants.

WHY did God pick Abraham? Because Abraham listened to God and did what He told him? Faith? Did Abraham have sin? Yes. How then was he justified? Through his faith? Yes. King David sinned as well, yet he was justified, in fact the Messiah descended from his line. How is that possible? Think about it.
