Deceptive Edits: Audio Contradicts Piers Morgan, Shows He Warped Trump Interview Ending in Promo

Audio provided by former President Donald Trump’s team to Breitbart News of the end of Trump’s interview with Piers Morgan proves that Morgan and his team deceptively edited the interview to make it appear as though it was a contentious ending when it was not.

A 30-second promotional clip that Morgan released on Wednesday afternoon seemed to show Trump flying off the handle and walking out mid-interview as a righteous Morgan asked him tough questions about his views on the 2020 election. But the full story seems to indicate that Morgan’s team deceptively edited the clips together to make it as nasty as possible for Trump—and to drive up the ratings for Morgan’s new show. Morgan’s new show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, launches next week on Talk TV, a subsidiary of Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation.

“This is a pathetic attempt to use President Trump as a way to revive the career of a failed television host,” Taylor Budowich, Trump’s communications director, told Breitbart News. “It is also another example of President Trump being right, as he told Piers Morgan that the host was dishonest to his face, and Piers, for the first time in his life, didn’t disappoint.”

The 30-second clip that Morgan’s team released splashed across tabloids and media outlets, taking the lead spot across the Drudge Report with multiple links accusing Trump of having a “meltdown.” In it, Morgan splices several clips together that make it seem like as on-screen graphics and a deep male voice over says that Trump is a “former president in denial” over the 2020 election. The promo, which calls it “the most explosive interview of the year,” pulls a few short clips of Trump calling Morgan “a fool” and saying “this is very dishonest” and “let’s finish up the interview,” before showing Trump standing up and walking away and saying “turn the camera off.”

But that’s not what happened—not even close. Trump spent more than an hour with Morgan, and the way the promo clip cuts together what it calls “Morgan Versus Trump” moments to promote the interview which will air on this coming Monday night is particularly deceptive. Most of those moments had nothing to do with the election issue at all, and the full audio of the last bit of the interview shows that Trump standing up and walking away and saying “turn the camera off” came after Morgan ended the interview and thanked Trump for a “great interview.”

The audio file obtained by Breitbart News, which is about seven and a half minutes long, begins with Trump spokesman Taylor Budowich interjecting into the middle of the interview to tell Morgan to wrap it up. “We’re an hour in,” Budowich says. “We need to wrap.”

Morgan responds by begging for more time with Trump. “Just a few quick questions and then—” Morgan says. “Thank you,” Budowich responds.

More than 300,000 votes unverified in Georgia's Fulton County in 2020, new complaint alleges

President Joe Biden won the state by 11,779 votes over former President Donald Trump.

A new complaint to the Georgia State Election Board alleges that more than 300,000 ballots were unreliably recorded on unverified early voting poll closing tapes in Fulton County, Georgia in the 2020 election.

"Fulton County's Advance Voting poll closing tapes are a fraudulent, un-certified, unsigned, and un-checked false representation of over 311,000 ballots that no court could legally accept," the complaint alleges.

The December 2020 recount in Georgia determined that President Joe Biden won by just 11,779 votes over former President Donald Trump.

The complaint was filed on March 28 by David Cross, who posts 2020 election irregularities updates on the website Election Truth in Georgia, and independent investigative journalist Kevin Moncla, based on Fulton County records released in compliance with their open records request.

The records request follows reporting by Just the News in December 2020 that memory cards had been prematurely removed from vote tabulating machines due to purportedly shrinking ballot storage limits.

According to the complaint, Fulton County violated state law regarding the closing of ballot scanner polls and tampering with ballot scanners.

At the end of early voting in the 2020 election, on October 30th, "with the ballot scanner polls still open, the seals were broken and the flashcards were removed," according to the recent complaint.

Each flashcard is supposed to be used for only one specific tabulator and is not supposed to be removed until 7 p.m. on election night. Under state law, at least three copies of each poll tape with the total number of ballots stored on the flashcard must be printed, and three witnesses must sign each copy for verification or explain in writing why they will not.

There were 148 flashcards for early voting in the 2020 election in Fulton County. In response to the open records request, the county produced 138 poll tapes, 136 of which were not signed, meaning the identities of the persons who checked the ballot numbers are unknown.

The 136 poll tapes showed that the corresponding flashcards "were closed on 12 different ballot scanners," in violation of state law, the complaint alleges.

Fulton County "removed the flashcards from 109 tabulators and closed them out on different machines, and it leaves them wide open — unsecure and open to manipulation," Moncla told "Just the News, Not Noise" TV show Monday night. "If those flashcards were put into another machine, then we would never know it. They could have scanned — added additional votes, and we would have no idea."

The county had more than enough tabulators to count ballots without needing to swap out the flashcards, according to Moncla.

Fentanyl Deaths in American Border Communities Skyrocket by 800%

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, California — Fentanyl deaths in American communities 115 miles north of the United States-Mexico border have skyrocketed by 800 percent in recent years, officials reveal.

In Riverside County, fixed between Los Angeles and San Diego, the fentanyl crisis has surged to levels that residents never imagined. Here sits the town of Temecula, with a population of less than 115,000, known for its old-world downtown area and wine country.

These days, Riverside County District Attorney Michael Hestrin says the area is fighting a danger pouring over the border unlike anything residents have seen — fentanyl.

In the last five years, Hestrin says the number of fentanyl-related deaths has increased by more than 800 percent. Though official figures are not in for 2021, the fentanyl death toll is expected to exceed the prior year’s record-breaking total.

Hestrin said residents are often unknowingly ingesting so much fentanyl that they have to be revived with multiple doses of the anecdote known as Narcan. In one recent case, Hestrin said, a woman had to be given 13 doses of Narcan to bring her back to life after having overdosed on fentanyl.

The region’s fentanyl death rate has prompted Hestrin to go after drug dealers, charging them with manslaughter when their clients ultimately die from taking fentanyl. In Orange County, California — which neighbors Riverside County — the case of 14-year-old Alexander Hastings Neville swept national headlines after the young teen died from taking a pill laced with fentanyl.

“We must take a war-like footing against those killing Americans,” Rep. Ken Calvert (R-CA) said this week during a meeting in Temecula. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) suggested a similar plan of action that would criminally charge every individual in the chain of fentanyl distribution with murder when an American dies.

“A finger of fentanyl on your lips, you die, and if someone gives you mouth-to-mouth, they also die,” Issa said.

While California officials said their Democrat-controlled legislature and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) are uninterested in helping communities like Riverside County fight fentanyl dealers, federal prosecutors have made headway in recent months.

In February, federal prosecutors in San Diego successfully scored a 25-year prison sentence against 31-year-old Jahvaris Lamoun Springfield for having sold U.S. Army veteran Brendan James Gallagher a fatal dose of fentanyl that resulted in the man’s death.

The sentence is the longest that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of California has ever recorded for the crime of distributing fentanyl resulting in death.

Nationally, more than 100,000 Americans are dying every year from drug overdoses, including tiny doses of fentanyl. Put another way, the U.S. is losing a population the size of South Bend, Indiana, every year from drugs primarily coming across the border.
