There is a lag with the images getting stored on the third party ducks server that is hosting them.
If you're near the bottom of the bread they won't expand.
But, if you page up a bit and click a 404 few minutes old one now it will expand fine.
The 404 thumbnails will remain unless you refresh often which totally sucks and is a pain in the ass.
