>so it's not too late to buy some silver, is it?
NO
consider it a huge gift if you can get it in quantity-that a big issue now
getting any in small sizes 1 or 5oz is a problem because most locals are out of anything below 10oz bars and the like
If you look at the big dealers they are "out of stock" and you have to wait a few weeks for delivery on the rounds and bars (small sizes)
Or get some "junk silver: pre-1964 dimes quarters and nickels but those also have supply issues and big premiums-those prior to 1964 are all pure silver "constitutional silver" it is called but mostly referred to as junk
They have plenty of Kilo and 100z bars but when it goes tits up those are gonna be hard to sell to anyone
The US Mint Liberty Eagles are the ones to have (or any Sovereign issues) but those specifically are going for anywhere from $35 to $40 because of this supply issue.
Th US Mint is having issues securing the blanks to strike them and have stopped producing the Morgan dollars for 2022 for now because of that.
Get it while you can and do not care what the price is in $'s after you get it
