Sharing something new I learned today:

The Russians call the Ukranian enemy "Hohol", a term derived from the tuft of hair worn by Ukrainian Kozaks (Cossacks) in the old times as a way to signify membership of that exclusive group.

Does the ATF and Secret Service usually respond to shootings in DC? Or does it just depend on the neighborhood?

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has responded to assist DC Metro police. Secret Service agents have also deployed to the scene.
